Being the only child has somehow made me so much more independent, as compared to my other friends who have siblings... being the only child also makes me push myself to achieve the best I can, in studies, in life...
Well, I don't think it's fair to say that I'm even HALFWAY there (in achieving what I want... maybe getting halfway there soon sounds better.
Anyway, I actually wanted
to write something bout my parents coz I just love and adore them with all
my heart. They give me all the freedom a girl could ask for, and I do spend
a great deal of time with them, to the point that some of my friends think
it's sickening! Hehheehehe...My mum and dad are the ones whom I go to the movies with, hang out in cafes with... and yes, I brought them to Bangsar once to SEE how we kids entertain ourselves/relax nowadays.
Now most of you would think that I'm spoiled coz I'm the only child they've got, right? WRONG! I still get the once-in-a-while scolding that I deserve, like the last time my phone bill went up to RM 300++... and TRUST me, I made ALL the calls... hehehhe, oOoPpSs!
They don't spoil me in a way that would make me forget myself and take advantage of anything. They do it in an ever-so-subtle way that it seems so normal for parents to do. Little things they do for me sometimes just makes me wanna hug them so tight (and also write this article)!
I dunno what life would be
like without them. I know MANY MANY peepz my age who hate their parents and
don't get along with 'em... (Hey, YOU might be one of them, too.) All I know
is that I LURVE mine with all my heart and soul. Although I've caused them
SO many heartaches as well as headaches, they still treat me with their
best!So just wanna say to my dad, "Thank you so very much for everything (erm, I'll pay the phone bill this month, yea? You don't have to look into it... akekeke)," and to my mum, "Thank you, kun walak kah dih, indik ko kabalo ano ang buatun koh... kon mai free time, ma shopping kita namam and also ma kaun sa manga namit nga places, yea?" hehehe
