| Zichron Ya'akov-the old quary: this site is actually a man made site.the digging in the cliff side left some nice streight shapes,but you cant realy compare it to the ones created by nature itself.the walls are pretty slippery, and and most of the climbs are the cracks made through time.the routes vary from difficulty of 5b(5.7+) to 8a(5.12).look out and check the bolts before you climb,since some of the bolts tend to be loose and in the wrong places.all in all-not a bad place,for beginners. |
| WARNING!!! there are sites you can climb,but some sites are not allowed by the Rashut(the natural reserves authority) for climbing.climbing at these sites could resault in a big fine (Knas) and your gear impounded(be taken away). to check if a site is prohibited or not,check the Israel Climbing Association site at : www.israelalpine.org |
