The word "HUNTER" was translated from the original Hebrew word "TZUD", which has the meaning of: hunter of men, to ensnare to beguile. |
Nimrod was actually a deceiver who opposed Yahweh. He is worshipped by many different names within pagan sun - worship cultures. He was the one who started this false or counterfeit world Babylonian religious system. He became the first FALSE MESSIAH out TO CONQUER THE MINDS OF MEN.
Now, let's go back to verse 10 of Genesis Chapter 10:

There were no kingdoms back then only cities, and NIMROD WENT FORTH CONQUERING these cities and lands until he built the first kingdom on earth. Nimrod was the king of the first kingdom on earth, which became the Babylonian Empire. This is why NIMROD represents the Babylonian Empire in verse 2 of Revelation Chapter 6.
He defied Yahweh by building the "Tower of Babel", so Yahweh confounded the languages of the people and scattered them abroad.

NIMROD, the name of a person mentioned in the Old (Covenant) as the son of Cush (Genesis 10:8 and 1 Chronicles 1:10). Who was celebrated as a great hunter. To him is ascribed the foundation of the great Babylonian empire and also the building of the cities which were afterward combined together under the general name of Nineveh. He therefore becomes also the founder of Assyria, and this country is therefore called by the prophet Micah (5:6) the land of Assyria. |
So, NIMROD is the rider on the WHITE HORSE, he brought false religion into existence, and he was the first FALSE MESSIAH.
HIS KINGDOM was GIVEN TO HIM, or HIS CROWN, he had the first kingdom on this earth.
The BOW represents the HUNTER of the SOULS OF MEN, notice there were no arrows, he killed them with his false worship or paganism.
