The Celtic Heus or Esus was a mysterious god of Gaul.  The Irish form was Aesar, meaning, he who kindles the fire, and the Creator.

Hesus was acknowledged in the British Isles. ... As the Breton Euzus, the figure is not attractive looking.  Dom Martin styles Esus or Hesus "the Jehovah of the Gauls." ... Leflocq declares, "Esus is the true god of the Gauls, and stands for them the Supreme Being, absolute and free."  The name occurs on the altar erected in the time of the Emperor Tiberius, which was found in 1711 under the choir of Notre Dame, Paris.

Prof. Bevan, in a recent lecture at the Gresham College, showed how the Celtic gods were Romanized.  Ogmius became Mercury; Caturix or Camulos, Mars; Bridgit, Minerva; Esas, Jupiter.

Gaul had Heus, Belenus, and other deities and images.  ...  Lucan exclaimed, "Heus, with cruel altars, horrid god."

Now, the following is from Wycliff's 1384 version:

3) The literalness of the translation.  The following is a specimen:  "The disciplis scien to hym, Maistser now the Jewis soughten fur to stoone thee, and est goist thou thidir?  Jheus answered whether ther ben not twelve ouris of the dai?"

That tree was the symbol of the ghaulish deity Hesus, as it was of the German Thor.

The following is from the Bishop or English scriptures.

Matthew, chap.v.-- And Jhesus seyinge the people, went up into an hil; and taughte them; and seide, Blessid be pore men in spirit; for the kyingdom of hevenes is hereun.

Baron Chaudruc-de-Crazannes, writing upon Belisana, goddess of the Gauls, observes that Caesar "had found in Esus, Taranis, Teutates, Camulus, Belisana, an identity with Jupiter, Mercury, Apollo, Mars, and Minerva, of Greeks and Romans."

Lucan mentions that the Druids wrote over the cross, Pan Daran, Lord of Thunder, bearing Hesus or Hu on the right arm, and Beli on the left.

"The Sun is the Son of the Creator, who is referred to by the Druids as the higher Sun of the circle of Infinitudes above the Zodiacal Sun."

God was regarded through the symbol of three letters or rods, representing the light, or descent of rays, the true Logos.  Hu, the divine Sun, was the Menw incarnate.  The grave is the matrix of Ced, who bears the same relation to Venus as the Creator does to Apollo the Sun

Lucan in his Pharsalia refers to three deities.  Teutates, Esus and Taranis to whom sacrifice respectively was offered by drowning, hanging and burning.

Notice what you get when you add a letter J to Esus ( Jesus ).

Encyclopedia Britannica

Esus:

(Celtic:  "Lord," or "Master"), powerful Celtic deity, one of three mentioned by the Roman poet Lucan in the 1st century AD; the other two were Taranis  ("Thunderer") and Teutates ("God of the People").  Esus' victims, according to later commentators, were sacrificed by being ritually stabbed and hung from trees.  A relief from the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris portrays him as a bent woodman cutting a branch from a willow tree.  This and a related relief from Trier, Ger., associate him with the sacred bull and accompanying cranes or egrets

New Larousse Encyclopedia of Mythology, by  , page 238, copyright

Esus cutting down a willow-tree.  The god is shown in his usual role as a wood-cutter and is engaged in chopping down a willow-tree in the branches of which can be seen a bulls head and three egrets.  The particular legend associated with this scene is not known but marsh birds often appear in Celtic iconography in connection with solar deities, in their role as gods of healing and occasionally as war-gods.

Matthew 1:25

More than 20 claims of this kind--claims of beings invested with divine honor (deified)-have come forward and presented themselves at the bar of the world with their credentials, to contest the verdict of Christendom, in having proclaimed Jesus Christ, (the only son, and sent of God:  "20 Messiahs, Saviors, and Sons of God, according to history or tradition, have, in past times, descended from heaven, and taken upon themselves the form of men, clothing themselves with human flesh, and furnishing incontestable evidence of a divine origin, by various miracles, marvelous works, and superlative virtues; and finally these 20 Jesus Christs (accepting their character for the name) laid the foundation for the salvation of the world, and ascended back to heaven.

Here are two(2) out of the 20 mentioned:

Krishna (Christ) of Hindostan

Hesus (Jesus) or Eros and Bremillah of the Druids

My Catholic Faith, by Louis Morrow, page 65, copyright 1963

If Christ were God, then the religion He established is true, and the Church He founded is the true Church.  We can believe everything He says, even without understanding it, because God cannot err.

If Jesus Christ were not God, then Christianity would be a farce, and the sooner it were done away with the better.  If Christ were not God, then He were an impostor who, by claiming divinity, had led billions into error for almost 2,000 years.

4. The church teaches that Jesus Christ is GodIt's teachings have spread throughout all nations, in spite of untold obstacles.

The Church has grown by the simplist of means, its spread ever accompanied by wonderful miracles, by which God designs to show forth the truth of the Church.  The doctrine of the divinity of Christ is the foundation of Christian religion

5.  Even the enemies of the Catholic Church have admitted their belief in the divinity of Jesus Christ.

As we have found that Jesus, Christ and God are pagan deity names, shows that Christianity is a farce and yes, it should be done away withJesus Christ is an imposter name which has led billions into error for almost 2000 years.

The enemies of the Catholic Church that believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ are the other denominations in Christianity that are called Protestants.  In essence this gives Christianity its interdenominational warfare.

Isaiah 42:8

I am Yahweh:  that is my name:  and my esteem will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

- The Christian Conspiracy: The Orthodox Suppression of Original Christianity

"We find no less that twelve mythical-historical personages before the advent of Christ, who are said to have suffered crucifixion/death and to have risen for the dead.  Among them are:

Krishna (Christ)

Wittoba

Osiris

Attis

Indra

Prometheus

Mithra

Dionysus

Hesus (Jesus)

Aesculapius

Adonis

Appollonius of Tyana

Several of these figures are said to have been crucified at the spring equinox and to have risen on the third day."

JOSHUA

   Joshua = English

   Josue = Latin

Yahshua = Hebrew = Yahweh salvation

They say Jesus and Joshua are the same two names, but I think you can see by now they are not.

Neither name was the Messiah's at birth.

Joshua is English for the Hebrew Yahshua.
