History: I swear Greg and I must have used that word to death in high school. While we still agree that mediocrity is basically the equivalent to death (I am speaking more for me, here, than him) it isn't something that's used QUITE so often anymore. I still use it when nothing interesting has happened in my day, and someone asks me how I am. "Eh. Mediocre," I say. I always think of Greg when I say it, though ;o)

The backpack that I've had since the tenth grade (which is still floating around here somewhere) says "Transcend Mediocrity" in white liquid paper. Ah, memories.
