Performing unlikely actions, such as flying across the screen. Head vein – pops up in corner of head when character is extremely agitated. Nosebleeds – occur only in males who think bad thoughts about girls however I like to nosebleed and I'm a girl....and I don't think they use nosebleeds in FY. Falling over – done when characters are particularly shocked or exasperated.

Normal Tasuki vs. Chibi or SD Tasuki (normal Subaru vs. Chibi Subaru)

Super-deformation of characters (SD)- makes them look young and act childish or changing into animals.  Also known as chibi form (child) or neko (cat) or whatever they turn into..

Sweat bead – appear on side of head when character is exasperated, annoyed or worried.

Nuriko and Tasuki getting in trouble (Tsubasa and Subaru getting in trouble!)

Growing - Sometimes angry characters grow to immense size when they yell, and sprout fangs.

Mallets - come from nowhere and used to bop annoying characters on the head.  Fushigi Yuugi uses bopping by elbow instead of mallets...
