Restoration 1.
This example of a Yamaha 250 XS Us Custom wasnt in to bad condition, alot of surface rust but nothing serious

The first job was to strip it down, prepare the frame, treat the rust with rust killer and then finish with hammerite
Painting the frame

The second job was to fix the broken gear linkage that was broken in transit
3.
The third job is to locate an OS silencer, which was missing when the bike was aquired
4.
Cleaning the air filters
At some point in its life this bike has been fitted with K&N style air filters, one for each carb, which havent been cleaned for a long time. Soak with k&N cleaning solution, hose out and reapply the K&N filter oil
