Info: Yugi is definately a true friend. He has a heart of gold and never gives up when things are bad. He cherishs his friends and his Yami, wanting to help them out whenever they get in trouble (Jounouchi for example). Yugi lives in a Game Shop with his Grandpa. His Grandfather was the one who gave him the Millennium Puzzle. It took eight years for Yugi to solve it.
During those years, his Grandpa would try to convince him to give up on solving it since it was a rather complicated puzzle (and he always wanted to sell it). But stubborn as he is, Yugi refused to give up. Once he solved the puzzle, he released a spirit that was locked away in the puzzle (see Yami for his description). People then think he and his Yami are the same person. But in reality, they are two completely different people sharing a body.
