Summary: Yugi and Kasumi start to get closer to each other. Yami meets Kasumi elder sister.

Chapter Six

Young Love

Poor Yami…Yugi thought as he was walking along the sidewalk, he so intended on finding Umi, Yugi gave out a big sigh, “ I just hope that we find her soon or Yami might kill himself,” he muttered. “ Hey Yugi!” someone shouted from behind him, Yugi turned around to see a blonde haired girl running toward him; it was Kasumi. “ Hey Kasumi,” Yugi said as his face brightened, “ hey Yugi, how are you?” Kasumi said happily, “ I’m fine, you?” Yugi replied, “ I’m just glad to see you again, you been missing lately,” Kasumi giggled, “ sorry, its just that…” Yugi started to say. “ What?” Kasumi asked, “ well, um…my brother has been feeling bad lately and I’ve been spending time with him to make him feel better,” Yugi lied, “ oh, what a coincidence,” Kasumi said, “ huh?” Yugi replied. “ I have a sister, she’s been really upset lately and I don’t really know what it is,” Kasumi explained, “ wow, I didn’t know you had a sister,” Yugi said, “ she likes to stay quiet, she doesn’t really like to get out,” Kasumi replied, “ same with my brother,” Yugi said.

“ Really, that’s strange, what’s your brothers name?” Kasumi asked, “ Its Yami, what’s your sister’s name?” Yugi asked, “ Oh her name, its Sasumi,” Kasumi replied, “ cool, hey I just thought of something,” Yugi said, “ what?” Kasumi said, “ would your sister be willing to go out with brother?” Yugi asked, “ a blind date? Well, I don’t know, I’ll have to talk to her,” Kasumi replied, “ all right, why don’t you call me after you talk to your sister?” Yugi said, “ okay, I’ll ask her when I get home, which is where I need to be soon,” Kasumi said, “ then why did you come to see me?” Yugi asked, “ oh yeah, I wanted to give you this,” Kasumi said as she handed him a small bag, “ I made to many cookies so I thought you might want some,” Kasumi said happily, “ wow thanks Kasumi,” Yugi replied. “ No problem, I’ll see you later okay,” Kasumi said as she started run away, “ bye,” Yugi said as he waved.

“ A blind date? I don’t know Kasumi,” Sasumi said after her sister told her about Yugi’s elder brother, “ come on Sasumi, it could be fun,” Kasumi encouraged. “ Kasumi, you know I don’t like things like that,” Sasumi said, “ come on, I hear Yugi’s brother is really nice,” Kasumi replied, “ still I think its sounds fishy,” Sasumi said as she sat down on the couch. “ Oh come on, Yugi says Yami’s a really nice guy,” Kasumi said, “ I don’t care…” she started to say, “ hold on, did you say Yami?” Sasumi asked, “ yeah, its Yami Motou,” Kasumi replied, Sasumi then turned around to think, “ Sasumi?” Kasumi said, Sasumi then gave out a big sigh, “ all right, I’ll go, but on one condition,” Sasumi said. “ Oh what?” Kasumi asked, Sasumi gave Kasumi a big smile, “ tell me, he is cute?” Sasumi said, “ well, if he’s anything like Yugi then I guess he could be,” Kasumi replied, “ good, all right then, call your boyfriend and plan it k,” Sasumi said as she walked out of the living room. Kasumi started to growl as red came to her cheeks, “ he’s not my boyfriend!” she exclaimed.

Ring, ring, Yugi heard the phone ring, he quickly ran to it and picked it up, “ hello?” he said. “ Hey Yugi,” someone said happily on the other side of the line, Yugi realized it was Kasumi, “ hey, well any luck?” Yugi asked, “ yeah, Sasumi said yes, so when do you want them to met?” Kasumi replied. “ How about tonight, in the front of the Domino Museum?” Yugi offered, “ yeah, that sounds good, what time? Maybe 7:30?” Kasumi asked, “ yeah that sounds great, Yami will definitely be there,” Yugi said, “ okay, bye,” Kasumi said as she hung up. “ Hey Yami,” Yugi said, just then a transparent form of Yami appeared, " yeah?” Yami asked, “ we’re going to go met a friend of mine,” Yugi said, “ really who?” Yami asked, “ you’ll see,” Yugi said deviously, “ is it your girlfriend?” Yami said wickedly, Yugi started to growl as his face turned red, “ shut up, she’s not my girlfriend!” he shouted.

(7:30, front of Domino Museum)

“ Okay, we’re here, now where is she,” Yugi said to the transparent Yami as he looked for a girl that looked like Kasumi, “ who are we looking for exactly?” Yami asked, “ you’ll see, just relax,” Yugi said, just then his face lit up, “ that must be her,” Yugi said, Yami then looked in the direction that Yugi was looking. Standing there was a young girl that looked almost exactly like Kasumi, except she was taller and a dark look to her, Her eyes were a darker shade of blue and her hair was a bit more wild. “ That’s gotta be Sasumi,” Yugi muttered, “ who’s Sasumi?” Yami asked, “ Kasumi elder sister,” Yugi replied, “ then why don’t you go say hi?” Yami asked, “ oh I’m not, you are,” Yugi said wickedly, “ huh?” Yami asked, just then Yugi used the millennium puzzle and sanding in Yugi’s place was Yami, “ what?!” Yami exclaimed. “Just go over there,” Yugi said to Yami (Yugi’s now transparent), “ what did you do?” Yami asked, “ Sasumi’s your date,” Yugi replied, “ date?!” Yami exclaimed, “ yeah, now get going,” Yugi demanded. “ Fine, fine,” Yami said as he gave out a big sigh, I’m gonna get him for this, he thought.

“ Um excuse me,” Yami said as he came up behind Sasumi, Sasumi then turned around to look at him, “ um, are you Sasumi Ryuzaki?” Yami asked, “ yes I am, are you Yami Motou?” Sasumi asked, “ um, yeah,” Yugi replied, “ well, it’s a pleasure to met you,” Sasumi said as she gave him a big smile, she’s looks so familiar, Yami thought as he looked at her, “ so I take it your sister tricked you into this,” Yami said. “ Huh, oh no, she told me about the date, why? Didn’t Yugi tell you?” Sasumi asked, “ no, he just brought me here, told me then about the date and then he um… ran,” Yami explained, “ oh my, I’m sorry, if you don’t want to go on this date I understand,” Sasumi said, “ oh no, it’s not a problem,” Yami replied. “ Oh, okay, so what do you want to do first?” Sasumi asked, “ um… how about we go get some pizza?” Yami suggested, “ okay, I am hungry,” Sasumi giggled. “ All right then lets go,” Yami said.

“ Well that was fun, I had no idea you liked scary movies, according to Kasumi Yugi hates them,” Sasumi said happily, “ yeah he does, he’s even scared of Jurassic Park,” Yami replied, “ no way, so is Kasumi,” Sasumi said. “ It seems they have a lot in common,” Yami said, “ yeah they do,” Sasumi said, “ so what do you wanna do next?” Yami asked, “ how about a walk in the park?” Sasumi suggested, “ sounds good,” Yami said as the walked to the entrance of Domino Park.

“ Wow this place looks great,” Sasumi said as she looked around, “ haven’t you been here before?” Yami asked, “ no, didn’t Kasumi tell you guys I just moved here,” Sasumi explained, “ really, from where?” Yami asked, “ Egypt,” Sasumi replied, “ so how long have you been here?” Yami asked, “ about 3 days,” Sasumi said. “ I see,” Yami said, “ well if you need anyone to show you around, then just call me,” Yami gestured, “ thank you, I’ll be sure to do that,” Sasumi said. As Yami looked in front of him, he saw two familiar faces; it was Kaiba and Kathy. “ Hey its Kaiba and Kathy,” Yami said, “ oh, that’s them, Kasumi’s told me about them, but I heard they hated each other,” Sasumi explained, “ so did I,” Yami muttered, just then Sasumi grabbed Yami’s arm, “ well lets say hi, come on,” Sasumi said as she dragged him toward them.

“ I just love coming here don’t you Seto?” Kathy said, “ its all right,” Kaiba replied, “ come on, what’s wrong with you?” Kathy asked with concern, “ I’m just tired,” Kaiba replied, “ then why did we come here?” Kathy asked, “ I wanted to spend some time with you, I’ve been so busy that I’ve had to cancel plans with you and felt bad about it,” Kaiba said, “ Seto, I understand, you’re a busy guy, your work is important,” Kathy replied. “ But its not as important as you Katherine,” Kaiba said, a tint of red came to Kathy’s face, “ thanks,” she muttered, “ hey Kaiba, Kathy,” someone said from behind them. They turned around to see Yami and a girl running toward them, “ hey Yami” Kathy said, “ hey,” Kaiba said as he turned around, but then Kathy grabbed his arm and turned him around, “ what are you guys doing here?” Yami asked, “ we like to come out here, we work so much that we really don’t get out that much,” Kathy explained.

Kathy then turned to look at the girl standing next to him; “ huh Kasumi is that you?” Kathy asked, “ huh? Oh no, sorry, my name is Sasumi Ryuzaki, I’m Kasumi’s elder sister,” Sasumi explained, “ I didn’t know Kasumi had a sister,” Kathy said, “ I don’t get out that often,” Sasumi replied, “ well its nice to met you Sasumi,” Kathy said. “ Right Kaiba?” she said as she turned to look at him, “ yeah whatever,” Kaiba said, “ Kaiba! I’m sorry about him, he’s really not this mean,” Kathy said, “ yeah…he’s worse,” Yami added, making Sasumi start to giggle, “ that’s all right, Kasumi told me he didn’t like new people,” Sasumi replied. “ Well we’ve gotta go but it was nice meeting you Sasumi, bye Yami,” Kathy said as she and Kaiba started to walk away, “ bye,” Yami and Sasumi said in unison. “ Well they seem very nice,” Sasumi said happily, “ yeah when they’re not at each others throats,” Yami replied, “ I don’t know, they looked like a cute couple,” Sasumi said, “ that’s what everyone thinks, but they’re not, at least I don’t think so,” Yami explained. “ Well, it’s not for us to worry about, why don’t we continue?” Sasumi asked, “ yeah your right,” Yami said as they started walking again. As they walked, Yami noticed that Sasumi’s expression went from joyful and happy to sad and loneliness, “ you okay Sasumi?” Yami asked, Sasumi then walked a few steps ahead of him and stopped, her spiky pangs covering her eyes, “ no, not really Yami,” Sasumi muttered, “ what’s wrong, you’re not having fun?” Yami asked, “ no, that’s not it, I having a blast, its just…” she replied, “ what is it Sasumi, you can tell me,” Yami replied as he walked behind her and put his hand on her shoulder. “ Well, I haven’t been completely honest with you,” Sasumi started, “ huh?” Yami said under his breath, Sasumi then turned around and looked at him, her eyes with tears, “ I’m not Kasumi’s sister!” Sasumi said, “ you’re not?” Yami muttered, Sasumi shook her head, “ I’m not even of this world,” she explained, “ what! You have to be!” Yami replied, “ you wouldn’t have a body.” “ This body you see is Kasumi’s with my soul placed in it, just like you with Yugi,” Sasumi explained, “ how do you know that?” Yami gasped, “ I’ll get to that later, its just I had to see you again, I was going crazy being able to be by you,” Sasumi cried, “ what do you mean, I don’t believe I’ve ever met you,” Yami replied. “ You have, its just you never saw my face,” Sasumi explained, Yami then stared at her in wonder, “ here maybe this will help,” Sasumi said as she pointed her finger up, a small spark appearing. She then turned and used the spark to write “ Sasumi” with it, she then slashed the a part of her name (that part disappears), Yami’s eyes widened in amazement at what it said:

Sasumi then turned around to look at him, he then looked at her, “ you’re…your Umi?” Yami stuttered, “ yes, I am, I’m sorry I lied to you, I had been hanging around with Kasumi, as somewhat of her guardian, when I told her what was going on, she was willing to let me borrow her body,” Umi explained. “ Umi…” Yami muttered, Umi then smiled at him, “ its good to hear you call me by my real name, Kasumi gave me that name because she said I was like an older sister to her, so she thought I should have a name similar to hers,” Umi replied. “ But I don’t understand, I thought you lived within a millennium item,” Yami said, “ I do, but the person who possesses is unable to unlock it yet,” Umi explained, “ how can I help?” Yami asked, “ you can’t, I’m afraid it might be too late for me, the person that was after me a millennium ago is getting closer and he’ll probably take me away…” Umi started to say, “ no!” Yami shouted as she grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his body, wrapping his arms around her, “ I wont let that happen,” he whispered to her, “ Yami…” Umi muttered, “ I don’t want to be away from you anymore,” Yami replied. “ You cant, I won’t let you get in danger,” Umi said as she then punched him hard in the stomach, he winced and then became unconscious, Umi then softly laid him on the ground. “ I’m sorry my love, I have no choice,” Umi said as a tear fell from her face, she then out a hand on his forehead, it lightly glowing and with a flash Yugi was laying there instead. “ Yugi, please take care of him, and tell Kasumi the truth, I’ve learned experience to tell the one you love before its to late,” Umi explained, she then stood up and started to glow, transforming back into Kasumi.

As Kasumi opened her eyes and looked down, her eyes widened in horror at seeing Yugi unconscious, “ Yugi!” she screamed as she kneeled down and lifted his head, “ oh no, Yugi come on wake up,” she cried. He’ll be fine, a voice said from behind her, she turned around to she a dark female shadow, “ Sasumi, did you do this?” Kasumi asked, I’m sorry, I had no choice, Umi replied, “ why? Yugi didn’t do anything,” Kasumi cried, I am sorry Kasumi, Yami and him now know the truth so you might have some explaining to do with them and the others, Umi explained, “ what about you?” Kasumi asked. I have to leave now; I have to go away, Umi replied, “ where are you going?” Kasumi asked, I can’t say, but I want you to do something for me, Umi replied, “ what?” Kasumi asked, tell Yugi the truth, I think he has a right to know how you feel, Umi explained. “ All right,” Kasumi finally agreed, oh and one more thing, I want you to know my real name, its Umi, Umi said, “ Umi? Okay, good bye Umi, I hope we meet again,” Kasumi said, how knows, we just might, Umi said, and with that Umi disappeared.

Later that night, Yugi started to wake up, “ ugh, where am I?” he muttered, “ you’re at home,” someone said, he quickly turned to see his grandpa sitting on a chair, “ grandpa, how did I get back here?” Yugi asked, “ why your friend Ms. Ryuzaki brought you, after that she quickly left,” his grandpa explained, “ what?! Oh no Kasumi,” Yugi shouted as he jumped out of bed and ran out of the room, “ Yugi!” his grandpa exclaimed, Yugi then ran into the kitchen, picked up the phone and started dialing. “ Hello?” a familiar voice said after a few rings, “ Kasumi?” Yugi gasped, “ Yugi! On my, how are you? you feeling better? I was really worried?” Kasumi said with concern, “ yeah, I’m feeling better, um, listen can I met you at the park in a few minutes?” Yugi asked, “ the park? Yeah sure, why?” Kasumi replied, “ I need to talk to you, it’s important,” Yugi replied, “ yeah okay, I’ll see ya there,” Kasumi said, “ good, k bye,” Yugi said as he hung up and ran out the door.

“ Yugi,” Yugi heard someone say from behind him, as he turned around. He saw Kasumi running down the sidewalk, her hair and eyes glistening in the moonlight. “ Kasumi, you came,” Yugi exclaimed as Kasumi stopped and grabbed her breath, “ why wouldn’t I, what’s wrong?” Kasumi said through her gasps of breath. “ Well,” Yugi muttered as he a big sigh; “ there’s something I have to tell you.” “ Really,” Kasumi replied as she smiled at him, “ what?” “ Well,” Yugi said giving another big sigh, “ its kinda hard to say.” “ Is something wrong?” Kasumi said with concern in her voice as her hair blew lightly in the wind, “ are you all right?” she said with urge as she put hands on his shoulders. “ No, nothings wrong,” Yugi said as he grabbed her hands, “ but thanks for asking,” he said as he smiled at her sweetly. “ Then what is it?” Kasumi asked softly, Yugi swallowed hard as he looked at his beautiful Kasumi. Her face glowing in the moonlight again, as if she was an angel. “ This,” he said swiftly as he pulled her in, pressing his lips against her.

Yugi felt like he was heaven, he thought over and over again as he wrapped his arms around her slim waist. She tasted like honey; pure, sweet honey, he never wanted to let go of her. He felt her hands grip his shirt tightly as if she was gonna topple over. Yugi felt like smiling. Just like I thought it would be, Yugi thought as he pressed his lips harder onto hers.

Kasumi thought she was gonna melt. She felt dizzy with love and passion; she never wanted to stop. He feels the same way she thought as she grabbed his shirt. She felt his lips press harder onto her, spreading her lips apart, leaning into her, so she wrapped her arms around his neck. God he’s a good kisser she thought over and over again her head. She then felt his tongue shyly slip into her mouth, she gasped in delight as tightened her grip. It was then that Yugi pulled away.

“ Kasumi,” Yugi exclaimed as he caught his breath, “ I’m sorry, I mean…I didn’t…” he started to say until he felt Kasumi’s soft hands touch his face. He looked down to Kasumi’s eyes a bit wet and a sweet smile on her face, “ no Yugi, don’t be sorry, I liked it.” Yugi’s eyes widened with shock, “ you did?” Kasumi rested her head on his chest, “ I wanted to tell you, but I was scared that you’d hate me.” “ Tell me what Kasumi?” Yugi stuttered, hoping she was gonna say what he was thinking. Kasumi stood on her toes and leaned in toward his ear, “ I love you.” Yugi went into shock, “ you do?” Kasumi nodded as she leaned in to kiss him, “ Kasumi,” Yugi whispered just as there lips were about to touch, “ yeah,” she mumbled, “ I love you,” Yugi whispered. Kasumi gave out a little giggled, “ I know,” she said as their lips softly touched, standing in the shining moonlight.
