Dear Dairy,

Today, I meet the cutest boy I have ever seen. I mean, he was hot, he should have had “ I’m cute” written all over his cute face. He seems to be really shy, and it looked like he had an allergic reaction for something (note: don’t bring flowers next time, or maybe it was my perfume). Anyway, his name, Yugi Muto, my height, my age, and the best duelist ever. But problem dairy, what also should be written all over his face as well is “girlfriend”, besides, even if he doesn’t, I mean what chance do I have with him. I mean, look at me, I’m a short little highschool girl from no where. Anyway I think I’m gonna go see Serenity again, she’s seems nice, and so do her friends, maybe I’ll be one too since I just moved here and have no friends of my own. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll see him again too. J

“ Come on you guys Serenity’s waitin’,” Joey exclaimed back to his friends. “ Okay Joey, were comin’,” Claire replied back as she and the others started to catch up. “ I hope she’ll be happy to see us,” Kathy said as she and the others enter the hospital entrance. “ Well I don’t know about you,” Kaiba replied, “ shut up Kaiba,” she replied as she whacked him upside the head. “ What are you talkin’ about,” Joey interrupted, “ she hasn’t seen you guys since, well, you know.” “ Yeah,” Melanie mumbled, “ ever since Malik captured us, we haven’t seen her at all.” “ Come on,” Yugi said to so he could make them feel better, “ she’ll be thrilled.” Kathy’s face brightened up a bit, “ yeah, who are we kindin’, I bet that from here on out everything is gonna be great.”

“ Hey, Serenity!” Kathy, Claire, and Melanie said in unison has they opened the door. “ Hey, is that you? Claire? Kathy? Melanie?” Serenity asked as she smiled at her friends. “ Yep, its us,” Melanie replied as she walked into the room, “ and we brought the rest of the clod’s,” Claire added. “ Hey,” Joey exclaimed, “ who you callin’ a clod?” “ Its great to see ya again…who’s that?” Kathy started to say until see looked over to the left to see someone else was in the room.

The person had their body turned until she heard Kathy’s last phrase. “ Oh I’m sorry, should I leave Serenity?” the person asked as she turned around look at the others. The person was girl, their age and Yugi’s height. She had long, blonde hair that was a bit spiky at the end, ocean blue eyes, and rosy lips and cheeks. She wore jean shorts, a blue shirt, white unbuttoned jacket, and brown hiking boots. “ Oh no, don’t leave,” Serenity exclaimed, “ I want you to meet my friends.” “ This is my brother Joey,” she said as she pointed to Joey, “ this is Kathy, Melanie, Claire, Bakura, Tea, Tristan, and Kaiba.” “ Please to meet you all,” she girl said as she smiled sweetly. “ Oh, and this is Yugi,” Serenity added as she pointed to red-faced Yugi. “ Hi,” he stuttered, the girl smiled bigger as her face went a bit red, “ its nice to meet you all, my name is Kasumi Ryuzaki.”

“ Please to meet you Kasumi,” Kathy said, “ are you new here?” Tea added. “ Yeah, just moved here from Egypt,” Kasumi replied, “ wow, that’s awesome,” Tristan exclaimed, “ have you seen the pyramids?” “ Everyday,” Kasumi replied, “ I love to read hieroglyphics so I went to see them after school.” “ I wish I could see that, the only interesting thing to see here is Kaiba Corp. and trust me you don’t want to,” Kathy said deviously. “ Hey!” Kaiba exclaimed at that last comment, “my work is excellent.” “ It is if you’re a kindergartner,” Kathy exclaimed back. Kasumi laughed a bit; “ you guys are a great couple it really shows.” “ WHAT!” they exclaimed in unison as they blushed brightly, “ we’re not a couple.” “ Uh, sorry,” Kasumi laughed out.

“ Well, I have to go now, see ya later Serenity, nice to meet you all,” Kasumi said as she started to walk out the door. “ Nice to meet you too Kasumi,” Melanie replied as Kasumi left the room. “ I like her she’s nice,” Bakura said, “ yeah, maybe we’ll see her later,” Tea added, “ maybe she’ll go to our school too.” “ Yeah, that…that be great,” Yugi stuttered with his face still red. “ Hey Yug, what’s up with you?” Joey asked as he looked at his friend, “ nothing, nothing at all.”

The girls looked and each other and awed, “ Awe, Yugi got a little crush,” Kathy said in a baby tone manner, “ that is sooooooooooo cute,” Melanie added. “ What!” Yugi exclaimed as he moved back, his face crimson now, “ no really I don’t.” “ Yeah right,” Tea had sarcastically, “ you have crush written all over your face,” Claire added.“ Hey lay off you guys,” Serenity interrupted, “ if Yugi isn’t gonna admit it, then don’t rag on him.” “ All right,” Melanie sighed,” but Serenity, how do you know her?” Serenity sat up straighter, “ well, I just met her yesterday, she just came in and gave me some “get well” flowers.” “How bizarre,” Bakura muttered, “ you mean a complete stranger just came in and became friends with you like a snap of the finger?” “ Seems that way, she’s really sweet, and the best thing is that she’s going to your school.” “ That’s terrific,” Claire exclaimed, “ we’ll make great friends,” Kathy added. Yeah, Yugi thought in his head as he watched the girls make plans on what to show Kasumi after school, great friends.

“ Attention class,” the teacher announced at the chatting class. Everyone hushed down, “ we have a new student today,” the teacher said, “ come on in,” she said to someone outside the door. Yugi’s and the others face lit up. In came no one else but Kasumi. “ This is Kasumi Ryuzaki, she just moved here from Egypt,” the teacher announced, “ can you tell us anything about yourself Kasumi?” “ Well,” Kasumi started as she smiled, “ My favorite subject are art and music, and during my spare time I like to write poetry and go see the great pyramids.” “ That’s nice Kasumi,” the teacher replied, “ does anyone have any questions?” A girl raised her hand, “ yes?” the teacher asked. “ What’s the weather like?” “ Its very warm, you normally have to wear shorts and T-shirts,” Kasumi replied. Another student raised his hand, “ yes?” the teacher asked again, “ Do you have a boyfriend?” Everyone expect for Yugi laughed, he just blushed. Kasumi laughed a bit, “ ah no, I don’t” that made a lot of boys muttered “ yes”. “ Well I hope you have a good time here Kasumi,” the teacher said as she sat down. “ I hope so too,” Kasumi replied.

“ Hey Kasumi wait up!” Kathy exclaimed as she and the others tried to catch up. “ Hey you guys, I thought it was you I saw in home room,” Kasumi answered as she turned around and waited for the others to catch up. “ Yeah,” Kathy replied,” hey can I see your schedule?” “ Yeah sure,” Kasumi muttered as she searched for her schedule, “ here.” Kathy and the others looked at her schedule:

1. Home room (Rm. 470)

2. Science (Rm. 456)

3. Math (Rm. 605)

4. Art (Rm. 555)

5. Study Hall (Aud.)

6. PE (Gym)

7. Music(Rm. 472)

8. History (Rm. 633)

“ Hey you and me are in the same music class,” Melanie exclaimed, “ what instrument do you play?” “ Violin,” Kasumi replied. “ You’re a least one of our classes,” Joey mentioned. “ That’s great, so I’ll have someone to talk to during class,” Kasumi said sweetly, “ hey Yug, she’s in your PE class too,” Tristan mentioned. Yugi went red in the face again, “ yeah great,” Kasumi went a tinge of pink, “ great.” “ Well come on Kasumi,” Claire said as she grabbed Kasumi’s arm, “ let’s get to science.” “ Oh okay,” she replied as Claire dragged her to the science lab, “ bye Yugi.” “ Bye,” Yugi replied as he slowly waved good bye.

“ Well, we stand correct,” Tea muttered, “ I knew it!” Kathy exclaimed as she gave Kaiba a wicked smile, “ all right Kaiba, pay up.” “ Grr,” he growled as he handed Kathy some money. “ What’s that for?” Yugi asked, “ Kaiba thought that you didn’t have a crush on Kasumi, so I betted him that the next time you saw her, you blush, and you did, so I won,” Kathy replied wickedly. “ Hey, you guys, that’s not nice,” Yugi exclaimed, “ oh shut up Yugi,” Kaiba replied, “ lets face it, you have a crush on Ryuzaki, and don’t you dare deny it.” “ Well sorry to burst your bubble but I’m gonna deny it, I don’t have a crush on Kasumi,” Yugi exclaimed before he turned away to cover his red face. But she really looked cute I her school uniform Yugi thought, “ all right Yugi don’t get all wacky on us,” Bakura said, “ yeah, we’ll stop,” Melanie added. Yugi gave a big sigh of relief, “ thanks you guys, no I gotta go, see ya later,” “ okay see ya at lunch Yugi,” Tea yelled to Yugi, “ bye.” God that was close Yugi thought.

“ (Yawn) God, can school be any boring?” Joey exclaimed as he sat down under a shady tree. “ Look on the bright side dear,” Claire said as she rested her head on her boyfriend’s shoulder, “ we only have three more classes to go.” “ Yeah, that’s because you have your easy classes next, to me its three mortifying classes left with this yuz,” Kathy said cruelly as she pointed to Kaiba who sitting next to her. “ Hey, it’s not a piece of cake either for me Kathy,” Kaiba replied back. “ Come on you guys,” Yugi asked after he swallowed a bit of his peanut butter sandwich, “ can you two try not to fight?” But just before Kathy and Kaiba were about to reply Tea and Kasumi were walking toward them, “ hey you guys, what’s up?” “ We’re listening to Kathy and Kaiba fight again,” Melanie replied grimly, “ again,” Tea whined as she sat down next to Tristan. “ Take a seat Kasumi,” Yugi said, “ oh okay, I think I’ll sit next to you Yugi,” she said sweetly as she sat down next to him.

“ So Kasumi,” Kathy said as she grabbed her grape soda, “ what ya think of the school so far?” “ Its great, I mean for school ya know,” she replied, Kaiba gave a little laughed in his throat, “ I guess you must hate math, I know I would.” “ Oh no Kaiba, I like math, why would you say that?” Kaiba gave another little laugh, “ because Kathy’s in that class with you.” Kathy gave him a nasty glare before she shook her soda violently and then opened it in front of Kaiba’s face, covering him in grape soda. Everyone started to laugh hysterically, “ you should see your face Kaiba,” Joey said through his laughs and before he high-fived Kathy, “ nice work Kat.” “ Thank you Joey,” Kathy said as she crossed her arms, ” now why can’t you be like Joey Kaiba? You might be able to get a girlfriend.” “ Shut up Kathy,” Kaiba exclaimed as he tried whipping the soda off his clothes. “ Is it always like this?” Kasumi asked Yugi, “ if you mean them at each others throats, then yes,” Yugi replied. “ Then I think I’ll like it here,” Kasumi said sweetly.

“ Hey Yug, ya up for a little game of duel monsters?” Joey asked as he pulled his deck out of his pocket. “ Yeah sure why not,” Yugi replied as he pulled his deck out. “ Oh wow,” Kasumi exclaimed, “ you guys play duel monsters too?” “ No way,” Kathy said, “ you play?” “ Yep, I love to play.” “ Hey, why don’t you play me Kasumi?” Joey asked, “ you don’t mind do ya Yug?” “ No not at all,” Yugi replied back, “ okay,” Kasumi muttered as she pulled out her deck. “ Alrighty,” Joey said as Kasumi sat down at the table, “ lets duel.” Joey and Kasumi picked up their first hand, “ alright, I’ll start off with Baby Dragon,” Joey said as he slapped the card on the table, “pretty impressive huh?” “ Nice start off Joey,” Tristan said, “ very impressive Joey,” Kasumi replied with a smirky smile on her face, “ but not good enough,” “ what!” “ I play the Water Omonics card in attack mode, destroying your Baby Dragon.” “ Oh man, that was good,” Joey said, “ yes very nice,” Yugi added, making Kasumi blush a bit, “ thanks.”

That’s how the game went on, Joey lost some points, and so did Kasumi. “ Alright Kasumi, this is your last chance,” Joey said wickedly, “ ya have to find a card that will beat my Red Eyes Black Dragon.” “ How she gonna get out of this one?” Melanie muttered, “ we’ll just have to see,” Yugi replied. Kasumi closed her eyes as she picked up the top card on her deck, as Kasumi looked at her card she smiled, “ and my cards have saved me once again,” “ huh?” Joey asked. “ I play my favorite card, the Dark Magician Girl in attack mode,” “ and I’ll also play cyber shield, which powers my magician attack points higher than yours.” “ Oh man,” Joey said, everyone gasped in amazement. “ No way, the Dark Magician Girl,” Kathy exclaimed, “ that’s a very rare card,” Yugi added.

“ Great game Kasumi, seems I have some work to do,” Joey said as he stood up, Kasumi just shook her head, “ no, you’re a great duelist, I mean, I was afraid I was a goner for sure, you were great.” “ Gee, thanks,” Joey said as he laughed. That’s when they heard the bell ring, “ well time to go, see ya guys later,” Melanie said as Bakura and her left to go to Science, “ bye, lets go you guys, see ya after school Kasumi, Yugi,” Tea yelled as she waved bye. “ Bye,” Yugi and Kasumi said in unison, “ well, lets get going to PE all right?” Yugi said as he gave Kasumi’s deck to her, “ yeah, oh thanks,” Kasumi replied as she was about to grab her deck. But when Kasumi’s had touch the deck, she and Yugi felt a small spark on their hands. “ Wow, that was weird,” Yugi said as Kasumi grabbed her deck, “ yeah it was,” Kasumi said as she smiled sweetly. “ Yeah, but lets going to class, the teacher can get cranky,” Yugi laughed, Kasumi gave a big moan, “ great, that’s all I need.” Yugi and Kasumi laughed all the way to class.

“ Umi…” a voice called, “ Umi…” the voice called again; “Umi!” a voice screamed, Kasumi then woke up in a cold sweat. Kasumi kept taking in deep breaths, not again, she thought. You okay Kasumi, a voice said, Kasumi jolted her head toward a shadow figure in the shape of a young girl sitting at the edge of her bed. “ Who are you?” Kasumi gasped, a friend, you had that dream again didn’t you? The figure asked, “ how do you know about my dream?” Kasumi asked, I can’t really explain, the figure said, but I can tell you I can help you. “ How?” Kasumi asked, just trust me and you’ll be safe, the voice explained. Kasumi thought about it for a second and then nodded to the figure. Good, just call on me when you need me, the figure explained, and with that the figure disappeared, “ wait, come back,” Kasumi exclaimed, but no one answered. Call her…Kasumi thought as she brushed back hair from her face and laid back on her bed to sleep. In the moonlight, her golden pyramid earrings shimmered.
