Cecil is the main character in ff2. He starts the game out as a Dark Knight, by the command of his magesty of Baron. But he has no power against the real dark forces of his land because he himself is on the darkside. So Cecil climbs the mount ordeals to become a Padalin, (a White Knight). When he reaches the summit he hears a voice that he recoginezes him. The voice calls him "My son". It is at the summit of the mountain that he recieves the light that raids him of his former darkness. Later in the game he finds out thet he is the younger brother of his arch enemy Golbez.

She suffered many troubles during the adventure with the party. Like the time she got sick with the dessert flu and Cecil had to fight the Antlion for the cure.
