Dear friends,
Thanks for visiting Lee-Hom's Planet, especially those who have signed my Dreambook. Your encouragement, compliments and suggestions give me the strength and the inspiration to improve my homepage and to bring better things to all of you.
Hi! I'm the webmaster of Lee-Hom's Planet, Yan Min. In case u do not know who am I, please scroll down until the bottom and click on 'Yan Min's World' to check it out.
Making a homepage is not an easy task, especially making this type of website which if not updated frequently will become out-dated very soon. Furthermore, I have to achieve a balance between studies and entertainment. Competition has become harder and tougher as I can see more and more websites dedicated to Lee-Hom are built.
My initial idea was to create a'rare website'; that is, introduce contents that are more uncommon and fresh. I tried very hard to search for new photos, articles and little secrets of Lee-Hom. However, things are not as easy as they seem. One of my visitors who has signed my Dreambook commented that she doesn't think the pics in my page are rare because she had seen all of them before. Well, what should I say? First of all, I would like to thank the person with this comment because I've said before, be frank enough. Juzz tell me what u think honestly, may it be a compliment or a criticism. Only in this way, I can make things better. However, as I have mentioned, things are not as easy as they seem, especially to me who is staying in Malaysia. As you know, Lee-Hom hardly spends more than a week in Malaysia every year. Therefore, it's impossible to get any 'red-hot' news and photos of him in Malaysia, except when he visits Malaysia during promotion tours (like the one in September this year). So, I have to use materials from Taiwan, Hong Kong, China etc, which many of you who are Lee-Hom's diehard fans should have seen before. That is my one and only choice. I think it's important to let u people know this.
The population of Lee-Hom's fans is increasing, as Lee-Hom is getting more renowned. This is a good phenomenon, but on the other hand, it means more people are paying attention to Lee-Hom's news and every movement. This makes me wonder whether my website is still considered 'rare'? I dunno, the question is left to you people to answer. Anyway, to me the concept, the idea is still there. I mean, the concept of a more 'uncommon' website. I love to be different from the others. Hence, I'm doing my very best to make my homepage different from the other websites dedicated to Lee-Hom. For example, I myself like 'Do U Know This? (Secrets)' this section very much, coz I don't think u can find it anywhere else, except Lee-Hom's Planet, can u? Later, I'll also introduce a 'Novel' section, where the main character of the story (or stories) in this section will still be Lee-Hom. Please be patient and check it out!
Well, that's probably what I want to tell u this time. Thanks for taking your time to read this and I really hope that u understand my effort and situation. Hope to see you again!
Love,
Yan Min
