Bio Phil Sensational started
as Kid Karnage in Xtreme Backyard Wrestling as
the hardcore, chair bashing, table crashing,
lighttube smashing backyard wrestler that was
extremely popular with XBW fans. He spent one
year in the organization domination the
competition until he was noticed and he went to
Garwood Pro Wrestling located in the Grant Park
area along with fellow XBW backyarder,
"Psychotic" Mike Hazel. There, he
dominated the light-weight division capturing all
of the GPW titles in his five month stay up until
the company folded. He then moved on to Extreme
Manitoba Wrestling which was run by Hardkore Josh
J. Kid Karnage continued to use the hardcore
risk-taking style he had always used. It wasn't
until the Yard Of Honor where Kid Karnage met a
whole new type of talent. It was different here.
The fans didn't seem to appreciate the hardcore
wrestling and soon enough, even after years of
putting his body on the line to entertain, the
fans turned their back on Kid Karnage. No support
at all led to an unsuccessful career in the Yard
Of Honor and after one match he had in The Super
16 Tournament, he left. He did come back though,
not as Kid Karnage however. He came back as Phil
Sensational. Sensational was able to sit around
for months wondering why he should continue the
hardcore wrestling style when nobody would
appreciate it. He knew he was better than them
and he went out to the YOH Arena and let the
people know exactly that. Not to mention show
them. He was the first ever and longest reigning
YOH Heavyweight Champion and also the first
tag-team champion along with old Sensationite,
Kevin Kourageous. His height of popularity was so
high that YOH Headquaters gave him a timeslot on
the card for The Sensational Show hosted by yours
truly. Sensational came back to backyard
wrestling a whole new person, a better person, a
person that is better than the rest, that IS the
main event, that IS the spotlight, that IS the
money, that IS the only reason worth even having
anything to do with the Yard Of Honor. He's
simply... Sensational.
