This is the story of gueriko royal eagle which may be found in the sacred place called the guerika mountains. Here is found a figure created with stones, but when the peyotes are stolen, the stones begin to transform into an eagle which then takes flight. To change the peyotes into stones so that the may not be removed from the shaman's circle they pray that the eagle be given peyote. For this reason the shamans perform a ritual to respect the sactred place where they will leave offerings from their families so that they will not fall ill, but before this, they sacrifice a deer so that they may smeer its blood on the stones and the offerings that are in the circle where all the shamans go to pray and light candles so that the gods may bless everything and they leave their offerings in order to have good health and to have more strength so that they may cure the people that are physically ill and also to drive out the evil that are in their hearts.

The eagle gives strength to the shamans, and this is why they visit this place to perform rituals so that the eagle may give them additional strength and help them to dream of their ancestors who were also shamans. This is the same tradition as the "curanderos" Pilgrims visit this sacred place to leave offerings to be blessed by the gods that are present in the circle of the gods so that they may be cured. In thgis sacred place the shamans are punished should they perform bad deeds such as to bewich a person. In this sacred place the shamans must confess to the gods so that they may be forgiven and they must never abuse the power given to them.
