I have read the following books very recently. I have included my comments about them for your reference.

Portrait of a Killer: Jack the Ripper Case Solved

Patricia Cornwell

It is an interesting initially, however, somewhere down the line it gets boring and repetitive.

Art of Deception

Ridley Pearson

A good book, if you want to learn something about psychology of criminals and interrogators. The climax is slowly built up till the end of the book. A must read.

The Da Vinci Code

Dan Brown

Adventure Novel. Must read for teenagers

Janet Jeppson Asimov

A good biography on Isaac Asimov. His thoughts, his life and how he wrote his works

The old Man and the sea

Ernest Hemingway

Good Reading, couldn't get the deeper philosophical meaning

To kill a Mocking Bird

Haper Lee

An excelent book, about a lawyer who fights social injustice against blacks from his young daughter's perspective.

Mein Kampf

Adolf Hitler

An insight into Hitler's Genius and Actions. A must read for social scientists and managers.

Haroun and the Sea of Stories

Salman Rushdie

Its an amazing Children's Adventure Book. You can't stop reading it once you have started it.
