Basically, the [Bolt] homepage you're at now is itself based on the theme!
While the header here is identical to that in the theme, there have been some changes to the three "info boxes" (for starters, I have reduced it down to just two).

The navigation menu and the "user info" box:


As you can see, the navigation menu is placed above the info boxes. You may also want to note that the "home" link has been removed -- instead, the forum logo (not shown) links back to the index page. The forum logo is placed directly above the navigation menu, and centered; like here. An optional background image can be set for the row in which the logo is placed :)
