| Name: Garilla Shah, Ashanti Bandroi (Ashanti High Priestess) Age: 40 Race: Human Appearance: 6'1" , 70kg. Tall and lithe, moves with catlike ease. Long Dark hair, green eyes, creamy skin. Abilities: Necromancy Stilletto and the Assassin tools of trade Magic - She is a bandroi, one of the highest levels of mages within the Ashanti Order. Affiliations: The Book of Chaos. History: Garilla was born to a small village within the Desert of Torgaine. A poor village it scrambled for water and food amongst the harsh desert and sands of the Torgaine. A nomadic people, they were much influenced by what they believed were the divine forces of the world. Their religion made up of a variety of deities and idols. One a forage for the village, the young Garilla stumbled upon the old ruins of Kraggen Mire, a deserted city, of legendary tales. It was shunned by those of her tribe. She came upon an old book within one of the towers. Strangely enough, despite the desert air, sand and rot of years, it had remained preserved, in almost perfect condition. She opened it and began to read. It was then in that fatal moment that the Book claimed her, heart, mind, body and soul. For the book was the Book of Chaos, and it began instructing her in the arts of magic. She soon changed; became darker, stronger and ever more cruel.. eventually, in fear, the Elders of her tribe cast her out from their village. In revenge she turned on the town and burnt it to the ground, revelling in the image of the elders, nailed to crosses and burning upon the pyres they wished her to burn upon. She left the village and travelled back to Kraggen Mire. That fabulous and ruined city. There on the borders of the Desert of Torgaine and the grasslands, she established the order of the Ashanti, a priesthood of both male and female magic users, to guard and study the works of the Book of Chaos. It was there she met a disillusioned Sokudo, one that had been outcast, named Alister Okaye. She beguiled him, and soon he too came to learn the secrets of the Book of Chaos. Together they work to defeat the companions, the servants of light. So that they may rule a world beneath their command of darkness. |
