Lord Morric de Caleone; Leader of the infamous Sea Raiders. Age: unknown, appears to be mid 30's to early 40's. Handsome, Very Charming and very deadly. Morric posseses the charm of a well bred gentlemen coupled with the twisted perversion of the most evil of beings. Highly religious, a leftover trait from his boyhood years living in Kantara. Lethal with a sword, highly accurate with a pistol Morric is legendary in battle, hence the raiders will obey him with nothing more the slightest nod of the head for fear of death. |

The Sea Raiders came about when one man, Morric de Caleone became disillusioned with the restraints set upon him by the fleet. He wanted more and was of a mind to take what he wanted when he wanted it. He gathered a small group of like-minded men, stole a warship, The Inquisitor, and sailed off. The ships belly full of stolen gold and disappeared into the fog one night. The Raiders are rumoured to live on one of the many small islands offshore of Kantara. It is also rumoured as to the actual number of pirates. Many have speculated they now number in the hundreds, even perhaps a thousand or more but no one truly knows except the pirates themselves. It is known that the raiders are comprised of many different types, from human to drow elves, all outcasts of some sort. Lord de Caleone, as he is now called, will take on anyone who passes the tests laid before them, except women. De Caleone will have no women in his ranks, to him women are to pamper, to pleasure and to be pleasured by. The Raiders have many ships of various sizes. They are heavily armed both on their persons and their ships. Raiders normally carry swords of some style, daggers, sometimes small pistols and always a nasty disposition. The ships are armed heavily with cannons and a seemingly never-ending supply of ammunition. |

It appears our Lord Morric is much more than he appeared. Morric was part of one of the first Quests. He was once a companion, twisted by the evil influences and promises made by the Ashanti and the Book of Chaos. The forces of chaos were able to manipulate and use him because of his Obssession with Calla, another comapnion of that time and because of his greed. For his part in stopping the Comapnions, 300 years ago, Ashanti and the Gods of Chaos bestowed onto him enhanced magickal powers, a indeterminable long life and access to one of the more opulent temples, The Temple of Illusia, where he was free to gather its riches for his own. |
