Notes:
· Brake lines specified for a 1995 YJ were swapped in as they provide a 2” improvement in length and exit in a vertical position from the wheel.
· The ARB solenoid was discarded in favor of a mechanical air-switch activation.
· Sun air tank mounted under tub inside frame rail in front of rear axle. A Sun plumbing/install kit was used to route air lines. A quick disconnect is mounted outside the Jeep at the rear bumper.
· Kilby raised gas tank skid results in a 1.75” improvement in ground clearance over stock gas tank location.
· Tie rod conversion replaces stock hollow tube TJ piece with larger solid rod and rod ends from a 1995 5.2L Grand Cherokee. Rod was purchased new from NAPA and bent in a 15 ton shop press resulting in higher rod location.
Future modifications:
· Currently under construction is a relocated winch solenoid box to an under-hood position with the controller plug custom wired to an exterior tub location.
· CV shaft conversion for rear driveshaft with a flat transfer case cross member/skidplate.
· Depending on funds, installation of a Klune V extreme underdrive planetary crawler box.
· Roll bar/cage, either all new or enhanced stock sport cage.
