FF7 Limits
Cloud Strife
Braver: Cloud's first Limit Break is his strongest, where on a rush of
adrenaline the swordsman runs at the foe and cleaves them in twain with his
sword.
Cross Slash: This next Limit is less strong, using three quick hits, but
induces paralysis.
Blade Beam: A concentrated effort sends a shockwave at a single enemy,
followed by smaller beams hitting the rest of the enemies for less damage.
Climhazzard: Cloud attempts to spear his enemy on his sword, and then
thrusts upwards, jumping high into the air to cause impressive damage to a
single enemy.
Meteorain: Levitating by the sheer power of this Limit, Cloud rains
down fury in the form of 5-8 meteors doing substantial damage. Especially useful
on a boss as the multiple hits can decimate its HP.
Finishing Touch: A flourish of the blade brings a whirling maelstrom with
impeccable grace and poise from the ex-SOLDIER to fling the enemy into the
skies, usually killing or sometimes landing them with force to cause major
damage.
Omnislash: Possibly the most powerful of all Limit Breaks, Omnislash hits 15 times at a high rate of damage (9,999 is possible when Luck Plus materia is equipped). The stunning frenzy of hits will decimate nearly any foe.

Barret Wallace
Big Shot: Summoning all the power into his arm, Barret unleashes a
powerful energy blast that does a decent amount of damage. The Big Shot is
useful throughout the whole game while Barret levels up.
Mind Blow: A very useful Limit if you are up against a strong boss which
uses magic. The Mind Blow absorbs a lot of MP from the enemy hit.
Grenade Bomb: Targeting an entire gorup of enemies, Barret launches a
deadly war grenade into the group of enemies. This is the best level 2 Limit
Break, much more useful than the Hammerblow.
Hammerblow: One of the most useless Limits in the game, Barret punches a
single enemy and knocks them out of the battle. The Hammerblow WILL NOT WORK
against bossess.
Satellite Beam: Showing that he has friends in high places, he
contacts a huge satellite to hover over a group of enemies. The satellite
releases huge rays of power destroying any weak enemies in its path.
Ungarmax: One of the coolest Limits in the game, Barret loads up on
ammunition and lets all of his enemies have it. Pumping lead into his foes does
less damage than the Satellite Beam, but hits more times.
Catastrophe: Barret hovers over a group of enemies and unleashes one of the most powerful blasts out of all 4 Level Limits. This super-heated plasma blast destroys almost any enemy but the bad thing is a single enemy won't feel the full blow. Find Barret's Catastrophe Limit in North Corel after Meteor has been summoned.

Tifa Lockheart
Beat Rush: This is the first step in Tifa's combo of Limit Breaks.
With the Beat Rush, Tifa runs towards her opponent and hits the enemy with
repeated blows.
Somersault: Tifa attacks the enemy with a quick backflip kick which does
massive damage and adds another link to her unstoppable Limit Break combination.
Waterkick: The third link in Tifa's Limit Combo. She kicks her
opponent again with a water element added. The water kick does more damage to
fire based enemies than regular.
Meteodive: Tifa shows off and uses all of her strength in the fourth
installment of her Limit Combo. She picks up her opponent and delivers a
punishing back suplex to her opponent.
Dolphin Blow: Tifa summons her dolphin friend from the sea. The
dolphin hits the enemy for the fifth time in Tifa's combo and causes great
damage.
Meteor Strike: In the sixth link in her combo, Tifa once again shows off
her strength by picking up the enemy and jumping high in the air, then coming
down smashing her opponent into the ground with her fist.
Final Heaven: The last link in Tifa's seven hit combo chain, she
focuses all of her power into her fists and unleashes a massive attack on her
opponent which causes much more damage than any other combo link. Final Heaven
can be found in her piano on disc two (while you have Tifa in your party) in
Nibelheim by playing: Do Re Mi Ti La, Do Re Mi So Fa, Do Re Do. A note form
Zangan will explain how to equip this final punishing attack.

Aeris Gains Borough
Healing Wind: Aeris calls forth the elements to restore half of the
party's maximum HP, and is useful throughout the game therefore.
Seal Evil: Seal Evil is one of the most helpful Limits in the game. Aeris
uses her rod to cast the Silence status effect on one or all enemies as well as
stopping them sometimes. This works very well against bosses.
Breath of Earth: Using her staff/rod, Aeris uses a powerful spell on
all party members which cures them of all existing negative status effects. Use
Breath of the Earth when all characters can no longer use magic, are close to
death, or just need to be cured. This Limit will NOT restore any HP to your
party.
Fury Brand: Sacrificing her own Limit Break, Aeris uses her power to hit
all other party members with a magic spell. This spell instantly raises all
characters Limit Gauges to full except Aeris'.
Planet Protector: Aeris summons a heavenly spell and casts a barrier
around all part members. This barrier makes everyone temporarily invulnerable to
physical and magical attacks.
Pulse of Life: With a quick word of prayer, Aeris summons another
mystical spell. This is one of Aeris' best Limit Breaks in the game because it
restores all party members HP and MP to full and cures any status effects.
Great Gospel: Aeris summons some of her angel friends from up above. This spell casts many effects that are worth while. It restores all HP and MP, cures any negative status effects, plus it makes the party invincible for a limited amount of time. To gain the manual for Aeris's Great Gospel Limit, you must go to the sleeping man in the cave slightly north and east of Junon having fought a number of battles which ends in the same number. He will give you some Mythril, which you should trade with the Weapon Seller to the East of Gongaga and ask to open the small box. Upstairs at the end of the balcony you will find Great Gospel.

Red XIII
Sled Fang: Red XIII charges at his enemy using his Headress weapons
and hits the enemy with a powerful attack. This is Red XIII's first long-range
attack.
Lunatic High: A glowing light engulfs Red XIII and all of his party
members. The Lunatic High Limit Break automatically puts all of the effected
party members into haste.
Blood Fang: The Blood Fang is almost exactly like the Sled Fang. Red
XIII charges at his enemy and attacks them causing considerably more damage than
the Sled Fang.
Stardust Ray: Red XIII summons the stars in a powerful attack on all
enemies, which is when it works best. This is by far his best level 2 Limit
Break.
Howling Moon: The full moon makes Red XIII go into a rage. He casts
berserk and haste on himself for the remainder of the battle. Red XIII can no
longer be controlled.
Earth Rave: Red XIII attacks all of his opponents with 5 elemental based
attacks. In the end, the Earth Rave will prove more beneficial than the Howling
Moon.
Cosmo Memory: Red XIII summons a huge red ball of plasma and attacks
all of his opponents with fire elemental damage. You can find Red XIII's Cosmo
Memory in the Shinra Mansion in Nibelheim in the safe, the combo is R 36, L 10,
R 59, R 97.

Hyper Jump: Similar to the Boost Jump, Cid jumps high into the air and

enemies.

enemy draining its HP and MP. All HP and MP that has been drained is transferred
back to Cid.
