Snowed In

It was early Saturday morning, and Tori was lying in bed with her eyes open staring up at the ceiling. She was bored, very bored. She had packed her suitcase, which, was sitting by the front door along with her brother Phillippe's suitcase.
Tori and Phillippe were twin brother and sister. It was only a couple of weeks earlier that they had had their 17th birthday. For their birthday treat, their parents were letting them go up to their log cabin in Idaho with four of their friends to go skiing. The 1st person that Phillippe had phoned up was his best friend Taylor ( who was two years older than Tori and Phillippe) and invited him up there. Zac, who was Tay's younger brother was the same age as the twins and was one of Tori's best friends so it seemed rather appropriate to invite him as well.
Tori and Phillippe would have invited Tay and Zac's older borther Ike, but he was on holiday already in the Bahamas.
The two other people who had been invited were Tori's other best friend Veronica and her younger sister Hilllary. Even thought there was a great age difference between the six of them, Tay being the oldest at 19 and Hill being the youngest at 15, with the other four lurking in the middle, they were still all good friends.
Suddenly, she head a noise from outside her bedroom door and she assumed that Phillippe had finally woken up and was staggering down the stairs, no doubt to raid the fridge for something to eat. So, she decided to get dressed. She went into the bathroom and had a shower, and ten minutes later, she appeared rubbing her wet hair with a hand towel and wearing a bath robe. she looked out the window and thought it looked cold outside and so she decided upon wearing a pair of twisted jeans, a fitted T-shirt and her favorite cashmere sweater, that she couldn't quite remember where it was from. She reckoned it was from the surfing shop downtown but she wasn't sure.
Tori wasn't one of the most girliest girls in her class at school. Sure she owned a skirt or two and a couple of dresses, but she never wore them. Everyone always told her that she should wear this or wear that, and style her hair this way or that, or that she should wear make-up. Tori had blond hair (which wasn't quite to her shoulder but was longer than chin level), blue eyes and was 5'11". The other thing that really bugged her, was the fact that her friends were always tring to do make-overs on her and make her wear make-up, which she really hated!
Sure, she had been told she was pretty, sure she had been asked to dance at school dances, but she had never said "yes" to any of the requests from boys who had asked to go out with her. She was a Gemini, and so, as they say "Geminis have a split personality". One minuteshe was all loud and hyper, and the next she was as shy as a mouse. The one thing that made her the most embarassed of all was if anyone mentioned the name Taylor. You see she had this MAJOR crush on him and would instantly blush whenever he was mentioned.
