Betty Jo was born to Frank and Mary. Betty's family moved to Florida. Larry (the man to become her husband) was in the Air Force where he was stationed in Orlando. (Betty's best friend was dating Larry's roommate, thats how they met.) She says meeting and marrying Larry was the best thing that ever happened to her and then her girls and now her grandchildren. Betty ran a day care for 15 years in her home and now she is busy helping with her grandchildren, Cory and Katey.
Betty Jo sent me a whole lot of family pictures recently, and I will cherish them always. She wrote me a letter telling me a little about her growing up. Her mother had a really tuff time after her father, my grandfather passed away. It was hard on a single woman with 4 small children. Her mother, Mary must have been an an exceptional strong wonderful lady to have raised all of her children to be such warm loving people, as Betty Jo seems to be. Betty Jo married Larry Meier and had 2 daughter's, Mary Ruth and Kathy Jo. And now they have 2 grandchildren, Cody and Elizabeth.
I can't wait to meet her and her family some day soon! I am so happy to have found Betty Jo and her daughters, Mary and Kathy. They all 3 seem to be such warm hearted ladies.
