Harry Maupin

Uncle Harry Maupin Reunion 2003

Harry worked in a defense plant during the war, where he met and married his wife, Ruth. After that they moved to Ashland, Ky for a few months and he worked for the C&O Railroad Co. They then moved to VA and he went to New York and attended a floor covering school. Harry went into his own business and retired at age 62.

I finally got to meet my Uncle Harry. We had a Maupin Family Reunion in 2003, in Ashland, Ky. Uncle Harry and alot of his family attended the reunion. We had so much fun meeting and talking with them all. So happy to finally get to meet this wonderful man. His daughter told me he really enjoyed all the attention we all gave him. We made him "King for the Day". Hope to see him next year for another Reunion.Harry Maupin and Family 2003
