| Halesowen
extended their winning streak with a 3-0 victory over
Evesham United. The game was evenly played during the first 15 minutes and both sides had chances to take the lead. Halesowen applied a stranglehold onto the game after taking the lead through Neil Smith in the 19th minute after he headed home a Mark Taylor freekick. After hitting the crossbar and having a shot saved on the line Evesham went to sleep and after a poor punch from Dave Adey in the home goal from a Hines cross allowed Andy Spencer to lob Adey and Leroy May head home from close range. It was one way traffic in the second half and on the hour mark Andy Spencer made it 3-0 after Les Hines had picked up on a Dave Adey mistake to square it for Spencer to tap home is 6th goal of the season. Dennis Bailey and Lee Ross had chances to build on the lead but couldn't. |
