Important Days on the Faery Calander
March 15th
Festival of the River Nymphs and Water Fae
May 1st (BELTANE)
Faeries ride out from thier hills on this day to celebrate the ancient Festival of the Goddess. The Faeries also decorate themselves with whatever flowers are in bloom and wear crowns of oak and berries. Some faeries gather for feats and they celebrate the culmination of the great honoring of the Mother.
June 20-20rd (LITHA)
This seems to be some of the faeries favorite holiday.  At this time of year the faeries magick is at full force and they are able to perform the greatest feats of magick.
August 7th
Faery hills and dwellings are revealed on this day.
September 8th
The door opens between the human and the Faery realms.
November 11th
Festival of the Black Thorn Faeries
December 21st (YULE)
This is the traditional holiday of the God's birth in the Wiccan year. This is another favorite faery time of the year. Although they are not really creatures who relish the cold.  They will wear clothing of sparkling ice blue and frosty pink.  They will cook and bake for several days (much like humans) and then bring out the meats and vegetables (yes they do eat meat!) and celebrate the rule and birth of the Horned God.
Here are some of the holidays and favorite days of the fea.  Thier holidays are fairly similar to the Wiccan wheel of the year.  Click on the Sabbats in parenthsis to go to that Sabbat's page.
