QUEEN OF THE HEAVENS
INANNA
Sumerian Goddess that later became known as Ishtar.  She was the Queen of Heaven.  Also the Goddess of Love, Procreation, and War.  As Ishtar (in Babylonian Mythology) she was the daughter of Sin, and the Goddess of Sexuality; The Ambitious, Dynamic Goddess of Love and War.
ISHTAR
(Assyrian/Mesopotamian) As the star of the morning, Ishtar represented War.  As the Star of the Evening, Ishtar represented Love and Sensual Pleasure.  She was a perpetual Virgin even though she enjoyed sexual relations, because she regained her virginity every time she bathed in her special lake.
