Forthcoming Events
Palm Sunday March 24
Solemn Mass at 11.15 followed by procession and blessing of the
four corners of the Earth carried out in the church parking area.
Then, returning to the church main door, we will celebrate the opening
of gate ceremony. Please note that this is our luncheon Sunday as
there will be no lunch offered on Easter Sunday. Mr. Haroutioun
Dilenian has generously donated for this luncheon on the occasion
of his 96th birthday. It will consist of roast beef or lamb, mashed
potatoes, sautéed vegetables and salads. We are grateful to the
group of volunteers who offered themselves to prepare it for us.
As we need to use the church grounds, parking will not be available
at the church on this Sunday. Ample parking is available at the
shopping centre and train station which is a couple of minutes away
from the church. You may be aware that there is no parking in Station
Street, if you wish you may unload passengers at church before proceeding
to the nearest car park. Your attendance and support is always appreciated.
You are all welcome to celebrate Palm Sunday together. So come along
and bring your friends.
Holy Thursday March 24
Sunset prayers will commence at 7.00 pm followed by Washing of
the feet ritual. The Lord's Supper liturgy will commence at 7.30pm.
Our Lord established the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist giving
His body and His blood to us, and conferring the authority to the
disciples to celebrate it in memory of Him. On this day, all priests
celebrate their priesthood as ministers of this Holy Sacrament.

Good Friday March 29
Way of the Cross at 3.00pm followed by order of Christ's Sepulcher.
Easter Sunday March 31
The Lord's Resurrection. Solemn Mass at 11,15am followed by Easter
blessing and greetings in the church backyard. You may bring your
Easter eggs for blessing. Again we rely on our dedicated members
to bring a plate of sweets.
Easter Monday April 1
(Day of obligation)
Commemoration of the Dead. Mass at 11.15 followed by requiem service
for the rest of the souls of our departed ones. It is our duty to
pray and offer Holy Masses for the eternal rest of our beloved ones
specially during the feast of Easter and other great feasts. After
mass, if any one desires to have a prayer on the tomb of their loved
ones, I will be able to do so at Springvale Cemetery.
Many thanks
Many thanks to Magdi and Mary Batty for their great dedication
and generous Luncheon . The aim of our activity is to gather the
families for Sunday Mass at least once a month and afterwards to
have a social gathering around the table and share the meal offered
to support the needs of the church.
Sacrificial Giving
Many thanks for your continued support. An envelope for the month
of April is enclosed with this Newsletter for your contribution.
