Petals Touch

A mountain of hopes and a mountain of dreams
With the valley of despair in between
Floating down the river of pain
For all my life it seems
Dark rain clouds cover the skies
Lettin no lght shine down on me
Lost in the shadows of hurt
For all Eternity
'Till one day along the shores
Glowing right before my eyes
A beautiful rose began to bloom
And the darkness left the skies
The river became calm
I made it to the banks I had never been able to find
I leaned down to touch the rose
And a feeling of peace filled my mind
The despair was lifted and love flowed down
Filling the valley with life
All the joy cut the hate from my heart
Like a double edged knife
I now live with a peaceful heart
Formed by a petals friendly touch
For all this I want to tell you my friend
