The Christmas's Eve dinner

Following a western tradition

For myself and my fellow Martin it sounds quite strange to celebrate the Christmas during the Christmas's eve dinner. That dinner is very important not only for some European countries , but for Australians as well. Families would gather together to have a big big dinner...i guess this is very similar to the first day of the Chinese New Year.

Having been suffering from canned food and horrible cooking by ourself for 7 meals in 4 days, i was very glad to have a dinner dish with beautiful snapper and gorgeous salad. For the first time i licked the plants in a public place...who cares!

Final thought...

  • Garlic bread: AUS$5 a piece

  • A dish of snapper fish with salad: AUS$25

  • A glass of sundae with strawberry topping: AUS$6

  • Great relief from horrible canned food and self cooking of the past 4 days...PRICELESS

*To enjoy the beauty of great food, just always make yourself into suffering with horrible food and cooking, then go to have a big mean in a fine restaurant right away!*

All mates met in Coral Bay; from left, Chris, Kare, Irwin, Daniel , myself, Martin. we had a lot of beer in that evening. Great fun with all of them :)

Our tent site's neighbour, Chris and Kare from Denmark.

What were they saying in Dannish?!

Karen, joined our party right after working in the kitchen.
