jingyang_nfls: Hello. I am a little late.

jingyang_nfls: and be prepared that I might have a disconnection in less than 10 minutes.

yeyj: It doesn't matter. I've just logged in as well.

jingyang_nfls: Just got into the computer room?

jingyang_nfls: and finished your math train as well?

jingyang_nfls: training.

yeyj: No really. I don't have math training today and I went to the computer room as early as usual. However, due to some reasons, we were asked to move to another room.

jingyang_nfls: There's one thing I don't like about yahoo! messenger, I don't know if you are typing at the moment or not, but you can tell on Yahoo.

yeyj: What do you mean?

jingyang_nfls: Which Houghton website did you go to? This is a nice place to live, but I haven't digged much into its history.

jingyang_nfls: If you remember, on mms, if the other person is type, there's a little sign on the bottom.

yeyj: Forgive me for the low speed owing to this stupid computer. I went to www.cityofhoughton.com, the offical website, it said.

jingyang_nfls: I meant to say "you can tell on mms". Sorry.

jingyang_nfls: is typing.

jingyang_nfls: don't the website I bookmarked is the same one. and what's Jiafei's city website? I believe that i've never thought of going there.

yeyj: I didn't find out about it before. Besides, I think mms can be installed in the computers here now, while there are still problems in logging on.

jingyang_nfls: How big is your computer room? is it in the library?

yeyj: Jiafei's is www.waterloo.co... I can't recall that, just use yahoo! to find it.

jingyang_nfls: Don't trouble yourself, I am used to Yahoo now. Can you please tell me Yu, Jie or whoever else's logging name on Yahoo?

yeyj: We have computers in the library, two big computer rooms and more than ten small ones.

yeyj: Yu's is wy_yyj, Jie's is unknown, he seems to prefer sites in China. Did you face any problems while trying to get a yahoo ID?

yeyj: Sorry for my snail-level velocity.

yeyj: I am afraid that there was just a net error, on my side.

jingyang_nfls: Network error. A huge one. Sorry.

jingyang_nfls: You are still there, right?

yeyj: Yours or mine?

jingyang_nfls: Mine.

yeyj: I don't care, hoping we still have a happy time today.

jingyang_nfls: My dad downloaded a program that suppose to make the internet speed faster, but it has more bugs.

jingyang_nfls: I have to shut the computer down and restart it again.

jingyang_nfls: Did you notice anything, hope I didn't make you worry.

yeyj: I am sorry to here that. So it was caused by virus? I didn't feel worried as you had been always online on my list.

jingyang_nfls: Didn't see your last few messages, but let's continue on.

jingyang_nfls: not virus, we just have so many programs downloaded and I suppose they conflict with each other.

yeyj: Fine. You saw Yu's adress? wy_yyj@yahoo.com, but he may make one like wy_xjy for you.

jingyang_nfls: I am really getting impatient at this disconnecting once every hour thing, drives my nuts.

jingyang_nfls: Why for me? can't he just use the same one?

yeyj: My computer just pop out when there are too much work.

jingyang_nfls: my computer froze. and the internet speed is still incrediably slow.

yeyj: He won't mind, I am sure, just joking.

jingyang_nfls: cannot spell. '

yeyj: I doesn't matter.

jingyang_nfls: But, you can still invite him the the conference use either one, right?

jingyang_nfls: Despite how close me and jiafei seem to be, she still needs a passport to get over here.

yeyj: I can't tell. He doesn't yet have the wy_xyj one, I expect.Have you ever watched euro2000 these days?

jingyang_nfls: And for now, I cannot go over there.

yeyj: But the process is much easier.

yeyj: Why not?

jingyang_nfls: no.

yeyj: Why?

jingyang_nfls: Not very interested in soccer.

jingyang_nfls: You?

jingyang_nfls: "why" to which question?

jingyang_nfls: the jiafei one?

yeyj: Not very, in playing in particular... Pray explain the Jiafei one.

yeyj: This computer's keyboard is driving me mad.

jingyang_nfls: nor football, basketball and baseball, which happen to be the biggest three sports in the U.S. Probably why I got a A- in P.E.

yeyj: You are excellent.

jingyang_nfls: Well, I don't really want to go into that. but I don't have a green card, so if I go to Canada, I might not come back to the U.S.

jingyang_nfls: excellent in what? typing?

yeyj: I have never done well in P.E. except for the last one in Junior 3.

jingyang_nfls: hey, I do run faster than you. Any paritcular sport you like?

yeyj: When would you get a green card(define it)?

jingyang_nfls: Don't know... not for another 5 years. I think.

yeyj: No, I hate sports, I mean doing, not watching.

jingyang_nfls: There's all these problems when you come over here.

yeyj: I like watching volleyball match as well, but the China teams are breaking my heart.

jingyang_nfls: I guessed so. You are always the "intelligent thinker" kind. Kidding.

yeyj: You mean come to Singapore or the US or what?

jingyang_nfls: Don't get to watch volleyball at all here, baseball all day, which I hate the most.

jingyang_nfls: the U.S. You don't have that problem, I think.

yeyj: Why did you say that you cannot return to the US if you visit Canade\a for now?

yeyj: Oh, all in a mess, my words.

jingyang_nfls: sign passport thingy. It's rather complicated.

jingyang_nfls: It's earier to get a green card in Canada, Jiafei has one, or she might even be a citizen now.

yeyj: Is the situation of Jiafei the same to you? Why can't you just have a trip there?

jingyang_nfls: Let

yeyj: Let what?

jingyang_nfls: 's drop the subject.

jingyang_nfls: Rather painful to talk about.

yeyj: Yes, madam.

yeyj: I find things strange today.

jingyang_nfls: I would really appreciate it if you could describe what happened in the two years in NFLS after I 've gone.

jingyang_nfls: Why?

jingyang_nfls: Don't call me madam, am I really that old???

jingyang_nfls: miss, or Ma'am would be OK.

yeyj: There are some many incident and changes, just tell me what you want to know and tell me exlain it in more details in email.

jingyang_nfls: joking.

yeyj: Fine, young lady.

jingyang_nfls: I don't know, anything would satisfy me. Who was your english partner after I left?

yeyj: The clouds are dispersed already, another sunlit noon it will be.

jingyang_nfls: to do the usual dialogue and stuff..

yeyj: What is a English partner? Desk mate?

jingyang_nfls: Been raining all day. Weather these days are really funny, one day sunny, one day rainy.

jingyang_nfls: No, when you do the dialogue or act out the lesson.

jingyang_nfls: Like you and me and Wang Yu used to do.

yeyj: Not as good as in Singapore, we can have one hour sunny, one hour rainy and so on. At first a new student Tan Tao came to occupy your vacancy, then we soon moved to the oppisite small classroom.

jingyang_nfls: and what about class B?

jingyang_nfls: they took your room then?

yeyj: That was in late junior 2, when all the students in division A were all mixed up again, I mean, by seats. I sit in the extreme right corner of the room while Wang Yu is in the far left.

jingyang_nfls: You've also mentioned eating in KFC in one art festival, definate the one I didn't attend.

jingyang_nfls: Ouch, been sepreated like that. Wu jingjing was your desk mate then?

yeyj: Class B went into the big class room, enjoying everyday sunshine. As He Xiaoyan often dismissed the class quite late, we had truly suffered.

jingyang_nfls: not in English class, I mean.

yeyj: Who was my deskmate when you were there?

jingyang_nfls: Stayed in the same room in juior 3?

yeyj: Yes, never moved out. You know Ye Qian's mother took Class A in the last one-and-half years?

jingyang_nfls: Wu jingjing. Remember before an Chinese chapter test, Wu, Yu, Wang Xing, and me used to study together?

jingyang_nfls: and you.

jingyang_nfls: Was that a horrible experience?

jingyang_nfls: not Yu. just wu, you, me and Wang Xing.

jingyang_nfls: sitting near each other and all.

yeyj: Wu had been my desk-mate for the next two years. (I was just a bit confused by youre last sentense, ok now) Then Dong Qing and Zhao Suyuan went to sit behind us, when the discuss became greater and greater.

jingyang_nfls: Fun...how were you last English corner experience( during the English Festival)?

yeyj: That was a good time for classmates sitting together chatting happily. But nothing more than that. Some of the people are not getting on so well after class.

yeyj: Terrible, I almost talked to nobody, just a bit sated.

jingyang_nfls: That I don't understand. but I've heard people say that everyone just sort of drifted apart and became mere strangers.

jingyang_nfls: not as innocent and warm-hearted as before.

yeyj: Ye Qian's mother was truly a good teacher, but can stretch the lesson to a long long time. I don't think she'd taken special care of Qian in class, while her daughter sometimes even quarrelled with her.

jingyang_nfls: In the English corner I attended, I just asked stupid questions like:"What is your favorite color". Thinking back, it's so ridiculous now.

yeyj: What period of time were you refering to? The stranger thing?

jingyang_nfls: Does she call her mother "mother" or "teacher whatever".

jingyang_nfls: ?

jingyang_nfls: some classmates sent me letters during junior 2 saying so.

yeyj: Qian called her mother in SHANGHAI TOUNGUE, cannot understand.

yeyj: Really? So early... Then what would we be like now?

jingyang_nfls: Our Chemistry teacher is one of my friends' dad, she just call him "dad" and he didn't pick her to answer his weird questions as he did to me.

yeyj: In the small

jingyang_nfls: Just rumor. I am not there to experience it.

yeyj: classroom, Donqing sat beside me, and then Jiafei beside Dong Qing.

jingyang_nfls: And I have no confidence now to judge the life in NFLS.

yeyj: Were they good friends in your mind? There were just tons of hearsay in those years.

jingyang_nfls: Dong Qing went to Nan Shi Fu Zhong, right?

jingyang_nfls: they? Jiafei and Dongqing?

jingyang_nfls: I think so. Jiafei get along with lots of boys in my mind.

jingyang_nfls: gets along.

yeyj: I don't mind. They are all crazy Science and English learners, quite strong overall. I am confident to become that kind in case I had been staying there, but now I've no idea.

jingyang_nfls: Couldn't decide for myself either, except for social sciences and foreign language, I like every subject.

jingyang_nfls: Often confused about what my major in college would be.

yeyj: Dong Qing just left NFLS, at first he prefered to stay there, though. No one knows why, butt it was heard to be his parents decision, while he wouldn't like to leave because of Suyuan.

yeyj: Just rumour.

jingyang_nfls: I've heard a lot about that, too. But I won't let my parents decide for me, I wouldn't decide in a place because of a particular classmate either.

yeyj: DongQing is very strong at computers, ya know? But Jia Yi's even stronger. He may find facilities in Nan Shi Fu Zhong better.

jingyang_nfls: to stay in a place.

jingyang_nfls: And Nan Shi has better science classes, if he wanna go into that, he should go to Nan Shi.

yeyj: All those may be not true, things look more confusing in the recent year.

jingyang_nfls: but on the other hand, three years in NFLS could be hard to abandon.

yeyj: There are some top students in Nanshi, but I really don't agree it is better than NFLS.

jingyang_nfls: Who knows, this "lessen study burden" thingy probably upseted lots of people.

jingyang_nfls: NO. although I've never been to Nanshi, I definately want to stay in NFLS.

yeyj: I haven't abandoned anything, while they are trying to left me behind. It sounds a bit strange: two ex-NFLSers guessing something happening there.

jingyang_nfls: Look at its BBS page, top among the high schools.

yeyj: Maybe we'll have to invite an authoriser some day.

jingyang_nfls: Explain it. I don't understand what you are referring to.

yeyj: Is there such a word?

jingyang_nfls: never seen it.

yeyj: BBS page? Top?

jingyang_nfls: yes. I think it's the fifth now. all the BBS page above it are Nanjing's universities.

yeyj: I've visited Jingling and Nanshi's webpage, but stopped at the threshold. Cannot enter!

jingyang_nfls: There's not much in there that's worth reading, besides, I couldn't figure most of the nicknames.

jingyang_nfls: it's "under construction" the last time I went there.

jingyang_nfls: Searched crazy for NFLS's webpage for a year, didn't find it until Yu gave me a hint.

yeyj: I wonder how many of them are our classmates, for Yin Jie claimed there were not many students who could have enough time to access to internet.

jingyang_nfls: Tell me about the "abandoning you in Singapore" thing.

jingyang_nfls: Not very many, I think. But one time while Yu was in his computer class or whatever, we actually talked on mms for 5 minutes.

jingyang_nfls: And he told me the bell was ringing and the class is over so he has to go.

yeyj: I just meant I was lost in NFLS, the special culture, cannot figure that out now. Such atmosphere is impossible in my prec\sent school.

jingyang_nfls: nor mine. Got used to it. You'll get used to your school in Singapore too. What can you do, you still got two years over there.

yeyj: So fun! For times I opened the computer to check email while classmates were presenting something in class, and was certainly chastised, occasionally.

jingyang_nfls: classmates in NFLS?

yeyj: That's true, but PRC often consider doing cultural things with most Singaporean is condescending.

jingyang_nfls: Oh, by the way, can you use voice chat in your school, so you can call me online for free. I cannot do it over here because of the way my internet is connected.

yeyj: No, here in Singapore, my present classmates.

jingyang_nfls: Do they just bring in laptops during classes?

yeyj: I am not sure. Is that the voicemail I mentioned or something else?

jingyang_nfls: Yes. It's voicemail, but you never mentioned it.

yeyj: Sure, more than half the students bring their laptops to school, then play games during recess.

yeyj: Really? I told you about it last year!

jingyang_nfls: My classmates play games on their calculators.

jingyang_nfls: Really?

yeyj: When I was still using eexcite.com.

yeyj: excite.com

jingyang_nfls: Sorry, I don't recall. Can you though?

yeyj: I'll check it then.

jingyang_nfls: You sent a lot of strange emails back then, such as "good day, my friends, my email address has been changed again".

yeyj: Hey, I'll have to change the computer room again, can you wait for five n\minutes?

jingyang_nfls: I don't know. My mom wants to go on the internet herself.

yeyj: Stil there?

jingyang_nfls: You are back , I guess?

jingyang_nfls: That was quick. Did you run or something?

yeyj: Yes, any problems?

jingyang_nfls: no. Just waited motionlessly.

yeyj: No, just the opposite room, and I managed to find a started one.

yeyj: Fine, today is really not smooth.

yeyj: Where did we stop?

yeyj: Disconnection again?

jingyang_nfls: Newwork error.

jingyang_nfls: One hour, not a second more. See me alright?

yeyj: What is wrong today?

jingyang_nfls: network error.

jingyang_nfls: We have problems everytime we chat. It's fate.

yeyj: So we have to finish it today?

jingyang_nfls: Wind is blowing fiercely outside.

yeyj: Bad luck, but never believe in fate.

jingyang_nfls: Got exactly 8 minutes.

yeyj: Good, I can still chat for two more days.

jingyang_nfls: Neither do I . Said it because I've heard a lot of people saying so.

yeyj: Did i ever tell you about it?

jingyang_nfls: One question, Are most singaporeans christions?

yeyj: Nothing.

jingyang_nfls: Christians \

jingyang_nfls: This time I spelt it right.

jingyang_nfls: Hello?

yeyj: Not at all, many Malay here are Muslims, and some Chinese believe in Buddha, Daoism and Confusion... My god, don't know how to spell.

yeyj: Kong Fu Zi.

jingyang_nfls: Got a lot of Christians over here, drives me crazy sometimes.

yeyj: Emailing is better, my brain is in a tangle today.

jingyang_nfls: I am the number 1 non-god believer.

yeyj: You are still the follower of nothing right? Including the what kinda communitism.

yeyj: Communism.

yeyj: Don't feel like doing anything.

yeyj: Have you left?

jingyang_nfls: Like in Science classes, when one cannot answer a question, they say"it's god's plan". Though only joking, makes me uncomfortable.

yeyj: Very bad day it is.

jingyang_nfls: no. be patient.

yeyj: Don't we also say my god, gosg, goodness, etc?

jingyang_nfls: No. I am not a believer in communism, don't know if I'll ever be.

yeyj: My gosh, wrong aagain.

jingyang_nfls: Are you in Gon Jing Tuan?

jingyang_nfls: You are fond of the ancient greek mytheology, right?

yeyj: We PRC here just hae a debate on whether comunism will be manageable on the other day.

yeyj: I was a Tuan Yuan, but not any more now, I am afraid. Wouldn't like to be.

jingyang_nfls: I am not taking sides here, been taught both ways: to like and cherish communism or to hate it with all your heart.

yeyj: Why do you think so? The myths of Greek?

yeyj: Outstanding quality of sword, bat and lotus.

jingyang_nfls: You were talking about Apollo in one of your essays as you've mentions. Quite beautiful describtion.

yeyj: Just saying nithing.

yeyj: Thanks, but all that was triggered by some astronomy staff. Get something?

jingyang_nfls: That's one of my very conflicted nature.

jingyang_nfls: Not saying anything here either.

yeyj: I've just caught it--your mnature.

yeyj: Nature.

jingyang_nfls: I have to go now. Will you still be emailing me?

yeyj: I am the no.1 bad speller today. Sure i'll mail you.

jingyang_nfls: love to see your email in the morning.

yeyj: The same time tomorrow? Hope thing to be better.

jingyang_nfls: So I guess I'll see you tomorrow. I was gonna say exactly the same thing.

yeyj: I'll fulfil something, not understood. Bye for now!

jingyang_nfls: Exactly the same time.

jingyang_nfls: bye.

yeyj: Yeah, well enough.
