yeyj: I rarely leave school, unless to buy something, attending what kinda activities. Although Singapore is a Garden City, I can't find a nice one round my school. But the environment if the hostel is nice enough.

jingyang_nfls: I am not sure.... Our class is peculiar in some way...

yeyj: There are about 1800 students in this biggest high school in Singapore. It's the... Don't stir with the grievelyad thing. I got to know all this after the school began.

jingyang_nfls: No. I sent you the email at 12:00 p.m. There's something wrong with our clocks.

jingyang_nfls: the difference in time is not exactly 12 hours, so.

yeyj: He just passed away silently on 20th August (if I haven' t mistaken). Then our Math teacher Dong Jinde, with some of his best friends went to attend the funeral. I don't know much about it as everyone tended to cry then.

jingyang_nfls: I didn't know Xiaopo that much, but I didn't sleep that night, just couldn't believe how nice a lively person could suddenly go away..

yeyj: You go to bed so late... I am later than you. However, I would read to sleep if I ever wanna try to enjoy a novel or whateve.

jingyang_nfls: When I was living in the dorm in NFLS, I listen to radios until 11 p.m. I hated the dorm.

jingyang_nfls: and do you get along with your roomate?

yeyj: It is just ok in my hostel, although there are many rules, we rarely obey them despite the ones regarding crime.

yeyj: My dorm room is only 4x4 m^2.

yeyj: My roommate is ok, I don't know how to comment on him.

jingyang_nfls: Ok..like I can imagine how big that is. Here, they use the English measuring system and I got accustomed to it.

jingyang_nfls: Anything you wonder about the U.S.?

jingyang_nfls: I didn't even try to think about how it is like before I came here.

yeyj: He can play piano, painting, sports, having a finger in every pie. But I really don't know how strong he is. A guy from Hangzhou, pretty strong, not as plite as my former friends, I am afraid.

yeyj: How do you like that country now?

jingyang_nfls: It's a mixed feeling. I am screwed up, being mixed up between Chinese and American.

jingyang_nfls: I can never think the way they do, but I wasn't exactly the me three years ago.

yeyj: Singapore, doesn't seem to be a paridise. You may understand it is barely a town booming out of the rainforest and relying on its neighbours.

jingyang_nfls: What was your first impression?

yeyj: Really? Who are you now? Do you think I am the one three years ago?

jingyang_nfls: I am trying to figure it out, doing some" soul searching" work. I haven't talked to you face to face, so I can't just judge you right now...

yeyj: Impression on Singapore? Very hot. The traffic is quite nice, the environment is not bad as well. At least there is little pollution around me.

yeyj: Don't be so mysterious, I am not asking you to guess!

jingyang_nfls: In my memory, you write beautiful essays, have you own taste for the nature and had a sweet voice.

yeyj: Who can stay unchanged for three years? Even Wang Yu is not so bapok as before.

jingyang_nfls: that was three years ago, so.

jingyang_nfls: You can sing good, can't you, and you read English lesson pretty good.

yeyj: Was our class very blue when you didn't left?

jingyang_nfls: I didn't think so. I was a happy girl with lots of friends around me. Didn't really care much about my grades and impression then.

yeyj: No, I was really praising you. The inverted commas are for emphasis.

jingyang_nfls: Ok, then thank you.

yeyj: But you know we all became quite indecent after that? Not so serious.

jingyang_nfls: I always treat middle school or high school as a place to experience life with friends, not much a place to learn.

yeyj: Saying someone with someone, still that kinda thing. Quite boring. However, our oral really improved.

jingyang_nfls: indecent? What do you mean?

yeyj: How many times have you gone through life to get the conclusion above?

jingyang_nfls: I don't know. I daydream a lot.

yeyj: I don't know what I am doing at times.

jingyang_nfls: I liked NFLS because of its poetry like surrounds, my friends and the relationship between teachers and students.

jingyang_nfls: surrounding.

yeyj: But after all, I found I am a realist ( don't know what that implies).

jingyang_nfls: I am a romantic, at least I think so.

yeyj: Nice.

jingyang_nfls: or you could say I am muti-sided.

jingyang_nfls: When is Zhu Haifeng and all those people coming back?

yeyj: I am really bad at doing that. I mean after having all that politic lessons, you can forget what is romance.

jingyang_nfls: I stay as far away as possible from politic lessons.

jingyang_nfls: unlike wang Yu.

yeyj: They may have come back already, or may not. In at most another week, I am sure.

jingyang_nfls: do they get to go back in mid-november?

yeyj: Don't know how Yu's going this year. As far as I know, he didn't work so well as Jie and Hongjin.

jingyang_nfls: Hongjin did improve a lot.. second place in class.

yeyj: Sure. Haifeng could go back twice, unlike the poor me. Who knows what's wrong between those schools?

yeyj: The first is Jie or a girl?

jingyang_nfls: Jie and Hongjin are good friends, so they are probably comparing with each other.

jingyang_nfls: I mean in class three.

yeyj: I know nothing about it. Not so keen in their performance any more. But certainly hope them to be better.

jingyang_nfls: Most of my closer friends I know are in class three.
