2.15.05In case you haven't noticed, I've been adding pictures to the last entry, but I still have about 1,000 pictures to upload, including pictures of my newly bleached hair. I've been working on and filming for the Stupid Cool skate video and awaiting Hopeless to be completed. The Spaghetti Bears are one of my all-time favorite bands. I'm in Chemistry right now waiting to go to lunch. I want my new shoes to come. I was reading older entries, and one of them said, "I upload too many pictures, no one will be surprised when they see my part for Taube." It's like the opposite now. I never hardly upload pictures so it will be more surprising, I think. I was listening to the last song on Bright Eyes "Lifted" and I almost burst into tears. It was pretty embarassing and weird. I felt like crying because the lyrics are so sad, same with Bowl of Oranges. I still haven't cried since elementary school when we gave away Red. It's not like I try not to cry, although I don't try to cry either. I've been reading In Cold Blood in AP Lang and it's pretty good, it's basically told from a true murderer's perspective. I have a pocketknife my dad got me but I really have no idea what it's for.
1.16.05Get ready to be blown away with some new pictures! I told you I'd keep a good uploading pace going. The wooden ledge in these pictures is going down a hill so it gets bigger and you have to ride down an incline. Might I add that I am an amazing filmer? Ok, fine, I won't. John and Johnny were competing for the back smith. John landed it first so he got to slap Johnny in the face. We skated this tennis court with benches and a gap so we had fun creating lines

11/19/04I finally filmed a nosegrind on a box. I kickflipped over it too, and me rail. I've been trying to get kickflips like Cory and Johnny, who told me how they do theirs. Here is mine so far:
10/29/04I've got so many pictures to upload, at least a hundred, maybe two. There's so much footage from recently that I just haven't bothered uploading, like I kickflipped over my rail and yesterday I overcrooked Johnny's rail. I hate not skating because every time I do skate I end up sucking. Cory skated with me and Johnny yesterday, and ever since he's been back on his board he's been progressing madly. I'm happy with my kickflips because I do them the way I think is perfect, concerning the flick and catch, like Justin's or Jon's. Of course this is just flatground not down stuff like them.

2/6/04I skated Johnny's house yesterday. My setup is sooo bad. My shoelaces were sooo gone, but i fixed that, and my trucks were so wobbly, but i tightened them. But my bearings suck cus they got sand in them from the anti snow stuff. and the board i'm riding is cracked down the middle. but it's all good. hopefully justin's board comes soon. johnny has a banana shaped box, like a curved one. i 5-0d his other box, but that's about it. john and johnny were kf front boarding his rail and seeing who could back lip the longest.

12/22/03Wow, almost a month since i updated this section. By the way, i started a new video, called "I Call It Last Place". my throat is dry.
11/3/03At Johnny Ransom's house Friday I got a run, with a front board and a 50-50 180 out. I was skating good. Today was John's day of good skating. He front boarded the four stair and landed many front noses and a perfect nollie fs flip.
10/23/03Wow. A lot of skating has gone down in the last few days, I'm so sore i can barely walk. I got frontside noseslides today on Aaron's box. The other day I ollied this gap, it's a five stair, with a grass gap off to the side that's longer, it was killer. I'll get footage up of that later. I also made another promo, but that will be up after I make a promo for this gap, and clear some space on the hard drizzive. But the gap was a very satisfying thing for me.
10/14/03I've been skating a lot and getting footage, just nothing big or important enough to put on the site. I will get something up later that's good, trust me.
9/30/03I went to a church gap a while ago and to this ramp and got lots of footage, but I'm not gonna put it all up at once. Let me tell you, 180ing the church gap was harsh, cus i fell a few mad times. it was craze. I plan to kickflip, shifty, and pop shove that gap too. hopefully.
9/25/03I just saw the picture of Chris nosesliding down the Roberts ledge. Man, he is SOOO dumb. I've been skating a lot mainly with John, Aaron, and Peter. We skated at Hunt Valley Elementary flatground and played skate. I had my fs flips going that day. I haven't really done much, I almost landed crooks and back feebles, then gave up on feebles cus they're so stupidly hard. Today I skated my driveway and turned it into a bank. My fs flips were so stupid, they're so mobbed. I hate my flips. And on every single one I had to pivot or tic tac to go back down. So gay. Oh well...
9/17/03I landed a front board shove it yesterday. It felt sooo good.
9/15/03I learned half-cab boardslides to fakie and to regular today on my little yellow rail. I'll get some footage later of all sorts of different stuff, some lines, with Peter and them.
9/11/03I got my Toy Machine deck last Sunday, it's cool. I've been skating with John, Peter, Aaron, and Effrom. We skated at Aaron's house on Wednesday. It was fun. Tomorrow we're skating again after school. it's so cool to have people to skate with here, because in alabama i couldn't skate with anybody. i learned pop shove shifties. i want a run that goes a little something like this: shifty ollie, pop shoveit shifty, fakie bigspin, kickflip. yeah...that would be sweet.
9/5/03I skated with these cool dudes from school, John, Aaron, Peter, Will, and other guys too. We went all over skating this ramp and some other things. They're crazy good at manuals. It was fun. Maybe later I'll get some footage up. What am I talking about, of course i will, when they come over to skate I'll film them.
8/30/03Since i get 30 dollars tomorrow, i am either getting a blank deck, or waiting a week to get a Baker. Who knows? No one. But i learned fs 5-0s today, and i slid a few fs noseslides, no landing.
8/19/03Today was the best day for skating, ever. I half-cabbed the loading dock, and set up my rail on a slope and bs boardslid and frontside boardslid down it. SOOO FUN. It was super duper. Tomorrow i shall attempt a 50-50 down it, it'll be scary, but so were fs boards, but as soon as you try it, you're like what the crap why was i scared.
I'm thinking blank decks cus they're cheaper. Alien Workshops are weak.
8/18/03I went out skating again, finally. The five stair/ ledge mania awesomeness is GONE. COMPLETELY gone. The only place that was the perfect skate spot. They're building a new skate park over it, which is gay, because it was so cool. I don't like skate parks that much. But anyways, i found these really cool sets of stairs, the only reasonable ones were a four followed by a two, which i ollied then firecrackered and barrel jumped then ollied. My alien workshop felt like it was going to break. My knee and wrist are really sore.
8/8/03Guess what i didn't do. The seven. I went back, but couldn't do it, i didn't even try. I barrel jumped a four, i'm going to bring it down bigger stairs. I need to land that trick i've been trying the last 2 days on my rail, you'll see what it is.
8/2/03I attempted the Cary 7 stair. I would've landed, too, had i not thrown the board away at the last second. I will go back and do it next time, definitely. Anyways, now that i think of it, i should've tried to barrel jump it. Maybe next time. Also, i've never tried a 6. I don't think i ever will.
7/31/03Wow, 2 posts in the same day. Me and Peter skated again today. Peter is 11 years old and he lives down the street. You know what, if i keep putting my skate pics on here, my part will be boring because everyone will already have seen all my stuff.
7/31/03I went out and skated my rail again today, doing a boardslide and 50-50. On one of my 50-50 attempts, i accidentally landed a different trick. Initially i thought to myself, that was really gay, you better land a 50-50. When i watched it, i went, hmmm. It's a fs overwillow/anchor
7/30/03I've started making the video i am sending to Chris and Jon of my footage, i've decided to call it "Super Splits!" and so far i have a few feeble attempts at doing stuff down the five. A while ago i tried to bs 180 and fs 180 and kickflip down it again, but i failed at each one, don't worry though, i will get it. I skated a lot today on my rail with this little guy, i 50-50d my rail and stuff. Yeah.
7/25/03I tried to kickflip the five. Let me tell you, that is one of the hardest things i've tried to do. Sooo hard. I spent an hour and a half trying before i quit because i was so tired. A few times i got pretty close, i'd catch it with my back foot and land on it without my front foot, and i managed to stay over a few, but then i just lost my ability to do kickflips. I am going to go back and do it again, i should land it either next time or the time after. My body's still sore from yesterday, i couldn't skate today at all. It's way worse to bail out in the air and land on your feet the entire time.
Chris firecrackered the 5. I ollied it again, and i snapped my tail on the second ollie, then ollied it with the broken tail successfully, then tried again and it snapped majorly again. It was fun. By the way, there's a new video, it's like a tour video of me and Chris and my brother skating in Virginia, ask Chris or Jon for a copy of it!
We went back to the awesome skate spot. So many things i want to try. It's so cool, there're so many ledges that are perfect for grinding. I'll put the pictures up so you can look at them. Chris ollied the five like 10 times, and this one ledge was so cool for boardsliding and such. Chris noseslid it in a run. Then there was another cool ledge that went up that i 50-50d.
Okay, today we found the most perfect skate spot EVER. There was an awesome five stair, with 2 big ledges, and just stairs and ledges surrounding it all over, it was madness. Chris and i ollied the five, i acid-dropped it, and chris fs 180d it. He's good. Check out the pics. Also check out my acid drop in the loading dock section. it's fun.
Fun Stuff: i did the splits, chris fell a lot on the 180
Chris is here in Virginia, we're filming footage for our parts. We've been finding a few spots, mainly this loading dock that's really fun. Now i FINALLY have new skate pictures! Yay! And more to come! Check out the sequences too. Chris broke his Status, now he's using his cool Koston board. My brother almost ollied the loading dock, he fell a lot, it was really funny. I fell twice, once i fell on the edge of the dock, the BONE WAS STICKING OUT AND THERE WAS BLOOD EVERYWHERE!!!! not really ...Then i landed in primo on a kickflip and my feet hurt as you can see in the picture. Anyways chris is eating his second BBQ sandwich, it's a triple decker, he's stealing Tyler's idea again...
I don't hate skating. That doesn't mean i love it right now, but i'm not mad at it. I'm trying to learn lipslides. I think a small rail might be easier to learn new stuff on. Mine's 11-inch, maybe i'm just a pansy. We'll see when i get to nebraska, it will be a lot of fun. I want a lot of gaps for my part.
5/29/03I hate skating so much, i am seriously thinking of quitting. I mean, i don't have fun when i skate, i only get frustrated and pissed at everything. I can't do anything right, as soon as i have something down, i lose it and have to relearn it all over again. I finally got a rail, the only fun i have is at the skate park when there are other skaters there better than me. There is no one here to influence me. The only time i skate "good" is when i'm around others that are better than me. I can't do anything i could do before. Maybe if i had a box...or maybe i just suck. All i can do is boardslide my rail, and i always come off fakie, it takes me like 20 tries to come off regular, and all this time i thought i was good at kickflips, thinking that they weren't mobbed, then i find out that they're just as mobbed as they were before. It doesn't make sense. AGHHHHH maybe in nebraska things will change. or in virginia. I don't know.
5/28/03 I kickflipped a 3, it took forever, i was really mad, i always get really close the first few tries, then it takes me like thirty more tries after to finally land it. It was a sketchy landing too, the landing is all sloped downhill. But i lost the footage cus me and kate and alex had to film something funny, so i taped over it. Oh well, i'll do it again later. my kickflips are mobbed anyways.
My part in the video will probably be really short judging from my footage, unless i film a lot in nebraska, which is what i'll probably do. I'm thinking of using Modest Mouse "What People Are Made Of", cus it's so awesome. I'm definitely using Modest Mouse.
5/12/03I finally got some new footage, after like 4 months! I ollied this gap, it's pretty cool. It took like 25 tries, even though i should've gotten it after 3. I kept getting mad, and i kept falling.
4/24/03Sorry for the lack of pictures, it's just been i haven't been getting anything. I really want to try to kickflip the 5, and ollie this other gap, and there's a bunch of spots downtown, but i'm too lazy and i can't drive myself. Actually I did get my permit. But i went skating the other night and almost landed k-grinds, came so close, actually did it like it's supposed to be, like grinding the whole rail, but i became retarded at the end.
4/5/03I hate 360 flips. I'm so close, but i can't get my front foot on. I'll flick it, land with my back foot, and ride away one footed! I was throwing my board. Now i'm just going back to stuff i should've learned before, like ollie manuals, nollie shove-its, and nollie 180s.
3/2/03I'm so stupid, i'm sorry guys i have to send you the skate video. And i will send better footage later, stuff that doesn't suck like my skate video. I almost have k-grinds down, i just have to land them...if i had a box i wouldn't have to wait to go to the skate park once a week.
2/15/03I went to the skate park today and skated with this one other guy. It was fun. It feels soooooooo good to be back skating, since i got my new Flip deck. I just feel good. I landed a few noseslides and noseslides to fakie, and fakie flips and stuff of that sort. I attempted k-grinds. Maybe someday. Style is very important to me. If i do something that looks like crap, it doesn't count until i get it perfect.
1/25/03I went to this thing in Birmingham for my church this weekend, and there I met this other skater, Tyler, and we hung out during the weekend. He is an exact replica of Sean, same Split hoodie, Alien Workshop, same time he's been skating, same a lot of stuff. But at this huge church there were these huge sets of stairs, one of them being a ten, and there were these 2 other kids, one was the smallest kid i've ever seen, he was like 3 feet tall and looked like 8 or 9, but he claims to be 13 (but he also claims he's only been skating 1 1/2 years). He ollied the 10 second try, and when i went to watch, he did it, but the board shot out from under him when he landed. Me and Tyler agreed it was one of the coolest things ever. He was flying in the air with the board barely under his feet or something, it was just really cool. He says he was in the local skate video, like in Montgomery they have one too, for the really good people. Anyways.

Man I have so many new pictures i haven't put up yet, but i will soon. ANd i have a bunch of new tricks, too. I learned frontside flips the other day, and frontside boardslides.
I am never doing handrails. Ever. Well, maybe. But goodness, I was watching RealTV and there was this guy that snapped his arm when he fell and it was bent in the other direction. It was the most horrifying thing I've ever seen. Call me a wimp. But he was screaming endlessly and staring at it and they showed it like ten times in a row and it was just like he fell and tried to break his fall but his arm bent the other way, and literally, it could've been a working arm facing the other way. SHUDDER.
I went to the park tonight. There was a huge group of skaters doing cool stuff like nosebluntsliding the box, melon grabbing off the pyramid, manualing and doing combos with them, stuff like that. There was a little kid like 3 years old doing primo slides. And I was just there doing 50-50s and kickflips. I want to learn so much stuff.
I learned varial kickflips tonight. They're kind of dumb. I just wanted to get them out of the way. I'm learning 360 flips. I took my skateboard to a basketball court at the youth center, and there was one guy who was teaching me them. I still don't completely understand them. Another one of my friends says he skates and he can do all this neato stuff. Anyways, the skate park is cool, and the thing on Tuesday nights at the church is fun, and there's some people that are just really good at skating.
Almost nosegrinded at the park. I fell down later pretty bad on my back. I got the Krux video, it makes me happy, even though it's only 15 minutes long. Sorry is the best video ever.
