 Counters are a great way of counting how many people visit your site. And Geocities suplies counters you for counter needs.
 Put this code on your page
<img src="/cgi-bin/counter/#"> Replace # with a a word or number (Ex. "yodacounter" or "8675309"), each counter should get a diffrent name or number to get the most accurate census. (If you are using Page Builder simply get your counter from the Add-ons button.)
 You can change the values our your counters at the Counter Manager. Simply type in the new number or 0 if your want to remove that counter from the counter manager and click "Submit".
