Just rember to start with http://

To link to parts of pages we need to codes Type:
<A href="#down">Down</A>
<BR><BR><BR><BR>
<BR><BR><BR><BR>
<BR><BR><BR><BR>
<BR><BR><BR><BR>
<BR><BR><BR><BR>
<A name="down"></A>

Down

Hello
This is great for long documents.

We can also link to programs.
<A href="sw.mid">Music</A>
Returns
Music

We can also link images the same way we link text.
Type:<A href="cool.html"><IMG src="moon.gif"></A>
If you don't like the border add border=0 to your <IMG> command.

<A href="cool.html"><IMG src="moon.gif" border=0></A>

Rember that Geocities is case sensitive, that is cool.html is not Cool.html is not COOL.html. Take this into account when your make your hyperlinks.

When we add "mailto:" to our hyperlink we can link to e-mail adresses
<A href="mailto:ygeohelp@yahoo.com">E-mail</A">
E-mail

To change the color of our links we:
Replace <BODY bgcolor="color" text="color">
With<BODY background="" text="color" link="color" vlink="color">
"link=color" is for links to pages you haven't visited. "vlink=color" is for links you have visited.
Lets say link="red" and vlink="lime"
You've visited this pageSo this link will be lime*

You haven't visited nopage.html beforeSo this link will be red*
