About myself |
My name is Jow Yu-hsing. I was born in 1975 (21st August) in HsinChu, Taiwan. In 1981 when I was 6 years old,
my family migrated to Singapore. Ever since I was brought up and educated in Singapore.
When I was 19 years old, I spent a 6 months of german language study in Goettingen, Germany.
From 1994 to 1998, I moved to London to pursue my university degree in Imperial College, UK.
I received my Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1998 and after that returned to
Singapore to work as a mechanical engineer. I was promoted to a System manager in 2002. In October 2003, I moved on to become involved in sales and marketing by becoming an account manager.

Hobbies and Interests |
During my free time, I like to watch TV, go for movies or meet my friends.
My favourite sports are swimming and going to the gym. I'm also quite interested in the subject of history
and sometimes read books about history.

Why do you call yourself "GZ"? |
"GZ" stands for "General Zhaoyun". This is the name of a famous general from the 3 kingdoms era in China.
In 2001, when I was involved in history communities, I was interested in the 3 kingdom history and decided to
call myself this nickname.
