Here are my first-term classes. I only taught five English classes my first term (I was still in training), along with one Bible class. My classes were at 7am, 8am, 9am, 7pm and 8pm. There was little training given for how to teach, so it was to some extent trial and error, although they did give us textbooks and a general curriculum. The "You Too Can Speak English" books were apparently based on some old British grammar book, so there were numerous changes necessary to teach "American" spoken English, but it was quite interesting and fun. The students were really one of the best aspects of my stay in Korea. | ![]() Level 2, 7AM |
