Term 2 Party Day

These are my second-term students. By this time I was a little more comfortable as a teacher, and enjoyed my classes quite a bit more than during the first term. At the end of each term, we had "Party Day," or "Pass/Fail Day" as I liked to call it. This was the day I handed out pass/fail cards, and the students brought food and gifts. Occassionally we also went out for party day to a coffee shop or a restaurant (or even one time we went out bowling). Earlier in the term, we had "Tea Time," when, in the firs tor second week of classes, we would all skip class and go to a coffee shop so all the students could get more familiar with one anotehr and the teacher (oh, that's me) could figure out who all the students were. Planning Tea Time and Party Day was the job of the class president, who we usually elected on the first or second day of class, before anyone knew who anyone else was (unless they were in the upper levels, then they were very familiar with hte other students).
