Next to Andrea is Torie, who tried to comfort me (when I broke up with Roberto) by purchasing massive quantities of alcohol. I saw her from our balcony walking down the street with an armful of bottles. Everyone's had a love affair go sour, so, by the end of the evening, we were all crying and laughing in the Campo San Geremiah. Torie's favorite beer was Corona, which she was able to find anywhere. The night before Torie flew home we had dinner in Trastevere and we cried our eyes out at the thought of saying goodbye.
