BALI DIVE TRIP
27 June 2003 ~ 29 June 2003

Day 1 - Blue Langoon (Dive 1)
Our first trip to Bali, thanks partly to the cheap SIA airfare (almost half the cost due to the SARS crisis). Immediately after landing in Denpasar, we headed to Geko Dive & do our first dive at Blue Lagoon (which is neither blue or a langoon but the fish life is fantastic...much better then those site we did in West Malaysia).

	Moorish idol- same as one you see in "Finding Nemo". Very Common here		Big Fat Clown Trigger - 1st time we even see it- extremely beautiful
	Very Small cuttlefish that Alvin Spotted before...		...i drag him away to photograph the school of juvenile stripe catfish.

Day 2 - Nusa Penidia (Dive 2 & 3)
After a good night rest in the nice resthouse (US9/nite/room) beside Geko Dive, we are ready to explore more of Bali Dive Site. Nusa Penida did not disappoint !! We can only do drift dives due the very strong surface & underwater current.

2 scorpion fish ...a big & small one...i think it should be a male & female pair...can you see em..click on it to get a bigger picture..it will help

DAY 2 - Blue Langoon (Dive 4)
Back to Blue langoon to search for sharks. The guide says he guarantee shark & we were a bit sceptical...but he guarantees, said he had prior engagement with them.

	Red Tooth Trigger Fish - literally sees hundreds of them in a patch !! Fantastic Sight to behold		A nice yellow Trumpet fish
	A Reef Black tip ! Manage to catch only a glimpse of it but the rest are luckier.		A Reef White tip ! Chased after it & got close to it but was able to swim with it for a while before it got bored & swam away. We are a happy & satisfied group of divers :-)
	Lionfish - good photo subject- always ready to pose for you		Cleaner Shrimp
	Blue Spot Stingray- i think it looks nicer then those in West malaysia (Blue spot ribbon ray)		The only moray that Cara & Alvin spot...do not see them as much as in West Malaysia

Day 3 - Dive 5 & 6 - Tulamben - Liberty Wreck Dive
Last day of our dive trip. Took a scenic van ride to Tulamben - greeted by lush green padi, valleys & gorgeous Vocalno (Mt Agung) along the way. A nice shore dive on black pebble beach & dove in blackish sandy bottom & the wreck itself was out of this world...surrounded by thousands of marine lifes...see the photos.

Day 4 & 5 - R & R to Ubud & Kuta
The rest of the holidays are spent in Ubud where most of the souveniers are bought before we travel to Kuta (with a dusk tour to Uluwatu temple) to chill off...before flying back home
