YLee's Artwork
Well, what I call artwork, anyway.

FAN ART
BUFFY
This is a colored pencil drawing of Sarah Gellar, who plays Buffy on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". It is also the second full color portrait I did. I was incredibly happy with it, and so was my teacher. There are a few mistakes but not many.
GOLIATH
This is Goliath, from the truely incredible cartoon, "Gargoyles". You would NOT believe how hard it is to draw his chin. I messed up so many times, it became a vendetta with me to get it right.
DANIEL JACKSON
This is Michael Shanks, my favorite actor, playing Dr. Daniel Jackson on "Stargate SG-1". This is from the first season show "The First Commandment", I believe, when he had taken off his glasses to look through some binoculars. This was also the very first full color portrait I had done, and, for that reason, even though there were mistakes in it, it is my VERY favorite. (The fact that he's also incredibly cute has nothing to do with it. ^_~ )
SPOCK
I thought it was time for a new picture. Unfortunately, all I have is an old one. This is almost twenty years old and the scary thing is that I probably wouldn't do as well now. Of course, we all know what show this is from. Star Trek was the first Sci-Fi show I saw. I loved it! I remember that I thought Spock was the best character ever. There's something about smart guys . . .
ORIGINAL ART
BEST FRIENDS
This is not fan artwork, but an original of my nephew, Zane, and his dog Spike. It was given as a Christmas present to my brother (Spike was his dog, too) and I was quite happy with it. I think my brother was very happy with it, too. It didn't scan very well, though.
HOCKEY
My sister needed a Christmas gift for her brother-in-law, who has signed some kinda contract with the LA Kings. I don't understand it, but it gave her a great idea for a gift for the hard-to-get-for guy. So, she got me to do him a portrait of him on the major teams he's played (or is going to play, or whatever). Unfortunately, I could only take photographs of the finished product and they didn't come out very well. The sucker was on a full sheet of watercolor paper (in other words, VERY big). Hope you like.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT NOW?
I was out taking pictures of my dad and brother farming when they broke down. I figured this was a perfect "story" picture. It didn't turn out the way I expected, but I think I like it anyway. It's a little yellowed. Unfortunately, that's the paper.
STUDY GROUP
This is a experimental piece on colored paper. It is of the group of friends I study for school with. I wasn't very happy with it, but they seemed to like it okay when I gave them copies for Christmas.
