Argentina, was a part of my trip I would never forget. I traveled with Tomer and with Lior part of the time. Here Tomer and me are at the city of Bariloche which is located at the west of Argentina, surrounded my lakes and mountains. Bariloche is not only located at a wonderful place but is known for it's great Chocolate factories.

We continued South throw Chile and returned to Patagonia. We made our
way throw to National Park - "Fitz Roy". We had bad weather at the first day. There were strong winds and rain, we got socked with water. But we continued our trek to find out it was worth it. We saw the glacier coming down from the Fitz Roy. We tried to get to it. But it is much farther then it looks, it just kept growing bigger and bigger. |
When we climbed to the Fitz Roy itself. We were astonished by it's beauty as it reaches the sun.
Below lies it's lovely lake. I am the dark figure.
A bit south of the "Fitz Roy" park is Purito Moreno. Simply amazing.
We got closer. But since there was nothing to compare it with, we didn't know how big it was and far far away we were.
Until it collapsed! The earth shook and there was a strong collision noise as if a huge building collapsed. I was unbelievable. I didn't stop taking pictures of it, until the water wave arrived. A huge wave. We started running from the freezing water that chased us... We were lucky. We got high enough. It was the most incredible experience I ever had or known in my whole life, even to this day.
We passed South throw Chile and made our way North to "Buinas Ires" on the coastal road of Argentina. Hitch hiked 1000 kilometers by a truck. Driving didn't stop the truck driver from filling crossword puzzles and drinking Mate.
The truck dumped us half way to the capital, so we found ourself sleeping at the gasoline station.
We got a bus the rest of the way. But we were used to the cold of the South so the heat of "Buinas Ires" kept us exsoted at the hotel. On our way to Brasil, we visited at the falls of Iguaso. This is called the "throat of the devil".
Due to the moisture of the falls, we encountered tropical climate for the first time. And the animals that came with it.
The falls of Iguaso are very beautiful as if as an architect designed them. I never got too excited from water falls, but this was my first time. Here I my trip in Argentina ended as we crossed the boarder to Brasil.
