TD RULES
1. Host a minimum of 1 tourney every 21 days. It can be at any time of day or night.
2. Vacation will be approved on an individual basis. Please contact fluffycat if you require vacation.
3. Prime Time – 8pm - 11pm all tournaments on the hour must be 2v2. If not
enough players by 5 after, the TD has the option to move the tourney to
15 past or to delete and re-make as a RR tourney for the hour spot.
TD CHECKLIST AND GUIDELINES
1. Pre-made Tourneys: On the hour only. A tournament created
at least 2 hours in advance is considered a pre-made.
3. Even Hours: Regular only.
4. Tournament Requirement – Correct rules, TD to
be in Adv 10, 30 minutes before start time with Check in Open. Check
in can be opened up to 60 minutes prior to start time.
5. Spamming Pager: It's not insisted but
suggested you spam all those on your messenger who have not requested “no
spam please”. Do not question if the player requests to be removed
from your list. We need to respect all wishes in this matter. Two
lists are suggested for this purpose. If you let invisible people
know you are hosting, they may show up! Please don’t spam too
often though, once or twice for each tournament should suffice. Ask
a HTD or Admin to spam it for you also. Their lists may be larger and more
complete.
6. Exceptions : All exceptions will be made by TA or senior
admin on a one to one basis.
7. Forum / Lobby Postings: TD's are not to post negatively
or engage in controversy in lobby or forum. Anything that is tourney/hosting
related should be referred to the Tournament Admin (fluffycat45us@yahoo.com) League related issues are to be forwarded to Mountain Admin.
8. Changing TD name: TD's must send a mail through
the server to ALL HTD's if they change their name.
LATE NIGHTS: (12am EST to 8 am EST)
Basically an "anything goes" approach is taken here, provided
it is necessary to keep the players in the lounge and the schedule moving.
However, regular is still to be hosted on even hours
NEW TD GUIDELINES
1. Once you are added as a TD, you must be trained by one of our trainers
before you can host. Each new TD must host 5 training tournaments with an
HTD present. Your first tournament should, if possible, be a 2 vs 2 regular
and be supervised by your Trainer.
2. Tournaments 2 – 10 may be RR or 2 v 2 but must be regular.
3. After you have hosted 20 tournaments you can be trained in Swiss and/or
Double Elimination. Any variations from the above can be approved
by TA or Senior Admin on a one to one basis. You must have an HTD present
for the first and second of each of the above type.
