Don't know if the order founded by the late Mother Teresa has its
own web site, but this is pretty close, and quite comprehensive.
See the present head of the order, Sr. Nirmala's, reminder on
any fundraising
in Mother's or the order's name.
Catholic Charities
Not necessarily just a single organization, as they say there.
But here are some local chapters, and assorted other info.
Salvation Army
Protestant Salvationists
(however strong or weak their current beliefs),
but also known for efficient distribution of donated monies and low
administrative overhead.
TRADITIONALIST
Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi
Links to and prayers of The Latin Mass, associated
documentation and encyclicals, problems with 'new order',
and more.
Quite a few essays on
current controversies.
Fr. Gruner's comprehensive site in his 'crusade' to get
the Holy Father to consecrate Russia to Mary's Immaculate
Heart. Marian writings, stuff on saints, misc.
Traditional Catholic Reflections
Steven Hand's site with numerous articles on
assorted post Vatican II happenings, criticism of sedevacatists,
perspective on the scope of the Second Vatican Council, and much else.
Used to be a traditionalist site until Mr. Hand apparently went sour and
became somewhat 'conciliarist'.
Now just sort of a 'bitchy Adoremus' flavor to the site.
In Hoc Signo Vinces
Feeneyite site, perhaps abandoned in late 1997 (?), with numerous
articles on the necessity of Baptism, salvation, the case of Fr. Feeney,
and so on.
Saint Benedict Center
Active Feeneyite site, with various articles on
salvation,
Baptism,
and so forth, and on their
legal status
regards the Church.
SEDEVACANTIST
Fortes in Fide
Meaning "Strong in the Faith", an on-line collection of
old line traditionalist ('sedevacantist', I believe) writings
by Fr. Noel Barbara, as well as religious photos, misc.
CMRI
Congregation of Mary Immaculate, Queen, making the case
for sedevacantism, and much else.
Their chapels, convents and seminaries are also listed,
also on-line books and assorted items, and so on.
True Catholic
The group which elected Fr. Pulvermacher to be
'Pope Pius XIII'.
Also various essays
from Gordon Bateman - ordained, named bishop, then cardinal, now 'papal secretary',
by the same 'Pope Pius XIII'.
RELIGIOUS ORDERS
Society of St. Pius V
Interesting traditionalist site with the beautiful
music of the
Daughters of Mary, various
homilies,
documents and much more.
Carmel Net
A Carmelite site, including a little
history,
an interesting
photo gallery,
some Christmas MIDIs, and more.
A little modernist, perhaps, depending on how you read some of
their documents. A good site, though.
Society of St. John
Traditionalist order, offering old line and demanding classical Catholic education,
and seeking what some might call the 'reform of reform' in taking Catholicism
seriously, rather than as anything less.
Abbey de Solesmes
Benedictine monastery, which after the 'fraternity' of the French Revolution
forced the 700 year old abbey to be abandoned and almost sold off, was
restored by the famous Dom Guéranger in the middle of the 19th century.
Famous for popularizing, a few years ago, the Gregorian Chant in record stores
around the world.
SSPX - Society of St. Pius X
Founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, he and his group which started
the broader insistence upon The Latin Mass and much else.
Called an obvious schismatic by various bishops and assorted clerics.
Defended as anything but by others, by Michael Davies,
and so on.
Franciscan Archive
Fairly extensive site not just on Franciscan history, rites, saints,
art, and the like, but links to gregorian chant, the writings of
various of these saints, and much else.
Transalpine Redemptorists
Traditionalist Redemptorists, Eastern Catholic (not Russian Orthodox),
SSPX founded,
offering apparently all the ethnic Eastern Catholics rites
from Ruthenian to Maronite, and
who seek Fr. Gruner's goal of the proper
consecration of Russia, and whose mission is basically just to
Russia, Ukraine, and thereabouts.
[Likely the new home for many leaving the Orthodox Church in the Ukraine, for one.]
Traditionalist Orders
Description of a number of traditionalist orders -
general goals, brief description of the daily life and habit worn -
with numbers to call and addresses, but no web links.
French Traditionalist Orders
List of fifteen orders in France, some of which likely have no
web page. [The names are a little different than found elsewhere,
e.g. someone put up a page
based on a booklet
one of the orders published.]
Convents and Monasteries
One hundred or more links to various sorts of religious orders
on the web, some conservative, some likely not (in Spanish).
CIN Traditionalist Orders
CIN
list of a few traditionalist orders, some likely without web pages,
one or two perhaps not mentioned above.
