My Letter to the World

This is my letter to the world
That never tried to draw a smile.
The purpose, yes, her only cause-
Was to expose me to the vile.

Yet I continue on my way
Searching, hoping, for happiness,
And if the world could give one gift
I ask for joy unto me bless.
