THE DIGIDESTINED

  Taichi Kamiya or Tai is 11 years old and the leader of the DigiDestined. Although he does seem to get the group more into trouble than anything else, his courage and loyalty shines bright! I guess that is why the group looks up to him for his leadership.  He has dark brown hair and eyes, and loves soccer. He lives with both parents and a younger sister named Ikari or Kari.  He attends Odaiba Elementary and is in the 6th grade. Taichi holds the crest of Courage and his faithful Digimon is Agumon.

Sora Takenouchi has the same name in the American version. She is 11 years old and is like the big sister of the group. She looks out for everyone and cares for them deeply. Maybe even more in Taichi's direction! ^__^  She has rust color hair and red eyes, and is a tom-boy. She loves soccer too, the sport where she met Taichi.  She lives with her mother who seems quite distant, but Sora loves her very much. She attends Odaiba Elementary and is in the 6th grade. Sora holds the crest of Love and her faithful Digimon is Biyomon.  (Sora is my fav female character! ^__^)

Yamato Ishida or Matt is 11 years old and is somewhat of the rebel in the group. He doesn't like the way Taichi leads the group but accepts it anyway. He has more responsibility looking after his little brother Takeru or T.K., which he loves very much and does a great job. He has blond hair and blue eyes, also a great cook and plays the harmonica! He lives with his father and pretty much has to take care of himself most of the time. I guess that is why he likes to be on his own. He attends Odaiba Elementary and is in the 6th grade. Yamato hold the crest of Friendship and his faithful Digimon is Gabumon.  (If you haven't guess it by now, I like Yamato!!! He's so sensitive and caring but still has a sense of coolness about him!   ^__^)

  Koushiro Izumi or Izzy is 10 years old and the brain of the group. Carrying around his pineapple iBook, he helps the group around the DigiWorld. Courteous and curious, he's a pretty cool person. He has dark red hair and black eyes, he loves computers and puzzles. I mean he has a G4 at home! I wish! He lives with his parents, later he finds out by overhearing his parents talking that he was adopted into their loving family. He attends Odaiba Elementary and is in the 5th grade. Koushiro holds the crest of Knowledge and his faithful Digimon is Tentomon.

  Takeru Takaishi or T.K. is 8 years old and the little half brother of Yamato. Although he lives with his mother outside of the city and away from his brother - he loves Yamato deeply and will fight to protect him.  He has blond hair and blue eyes, and even though he cries a lot he has a strong will and heart.  A brave little guy, likes to play video games and someday wants to be like his big brother. He attends Kawada Elementary and is in the 2nd grade. Takeru holds the crest of Hope and his faithful Digimon is Patamon. Patamon also helps Takeru with his crying problem and always takes care of him.

  Mimi Tachikawa is also the same name in the American version. She is 10 yeras old amd a spoiled rich girl, always complaining about something. Although she is somewhat selfish, she does care for the group and has a strong will when certain situations come about. She has brown hair and rust color eyes, loves to sing and dye her clothes pink. She lives with both parents whom she loves very much. She gets her fashion sense from her mother. She attends Odaiba Elementary and is in the 5th grade. Mimi holds the crest of Sincerity and her faithful Digimon is Palmon.

  Jyou Kido or Joe is 12 years old and the worry wart of the group. Accident prone, allergies and low self esteem. This boy has problems but he is working on it and does care for the group. The oldest of the group, I think Jyou believes him to be responsible for the whole team. He has navy blue hair and black eyes, doesn't like to fight, always scared. He lives with both of his parents and older brother. He attends Odaiba Elementary and is in the 7th grade. Jyou holds the crest of Reliability and his faithful Digimon is Gomamon. Also I think Gomamon gives Jyou a little more courage when he's around.

Ikari Kamiya or Kari is 8 years old and is the Eighth DigiDestined. Sweet like candy, she loves her big brother Taichi because he looks out for her all the time. She has a cat named Meeko who stole her DigiVice, stupid cat! She lives with her parents and big brother Taichi. She has light brown hair and deep red color eyes, always cares for people and has great courage. She attends Odaiba Elementary and is in the 2nd grade. Ikari holds the crest of Light and her faithful Digimon, which she meets later, is Gatomon. (Ikari is kinda like a smaller version of Sora, so I like her too! ^__^)
