Weib Kreuz, pronounced vais kroyts in German, is known as White Cross in English. This anime/manga/radio drama was created by artist Koyasu Takehito and Project Weib. The voice actors, Koyasu Takehito, Seki Tomokazu, Miki Shin'ichiro and Yuuki Hiro, are quite popular in Japan and the United States. And who can blame them!  ^__^ They play the characters of Aya Fujimiya, Yohji Kudou, Ken Hidaka and Omi Tsukiyono.

The plot of the anime is a never ending roller coaster of comedy, romance, tragedy and intense situations. It  debuted in Japan on April 8, 1998 with 24 episodes and aired pretty late at night due to its adult situations. Later, to many fans delight, a 2-part OVA series was announced and is coming out this year! YEAH!

The Weib team, consisting of Aya, Yohji, Ken and Omi are four assassins whose main goal is to destroy the evil plans of a underground German organization called SS. The four were hired by a politician named Persia and work above the present law. However, in the daytime, they cover up their secret identities by working as florists at Koneko no Sumu le (Kitty in the House). To make things any harder for this team, two other groups called Schwarz and Schreiend, are also out to eliminate Weib and protect their own.

Here is a small description of each member (no spoilers here, go to the episodes if you want them)

AYA - Known for his red hair and cool earring, Aya is considered to be a loner and rarely smiles. It will be a sunny day when he does! ^__^  His parents were killed by Takatori and his sister was hospitalized in a coma as well. He always goes to her room to put flowers on her window sill, Awww! He joined Weib to avenge   his parents and to pay for his sister's hospital bills. He'll kill anyone for money. Last to join Weib.

YOHJI - I can drool over this guy forever! Quit smoking though. Anyway, he is known for his playboy ways, with his good looks and hair. Always has his sunglasses with him, sometimes I have no idea how he can fight with it. Before joining Weib, he was a detective with his partner who was killed  protecting him. This is why he is always taking on jobs which protects the ladies. He can protect me anytime! ^__^

KEN - He is your average teenage boy, but I like his sensitive side! Has a strong sense of justice, loves to play soccer with the neighbor kids and they love him too! A J-Leaguer (Japanese pro soccer player), he was framed in a gambling incident, which ended his career. He later joined Weib to stop this kind of situation from ever occurring again.

OMI - He goes to school in the day, kills at night. The youngest of the team, and the most screwed up too! I won't tell, I promised I wouldn't tell. Anyway, he joined Weib under false pretenses and will protect anybody he loves. Sweet and sincere, Omi looks out for the elderly and keeps things in order. Always a cheerful guy, making sure everyone is happy too!

Many people say this anime is awful due to the ever changing animation, but these bishounen are drawn to make any girl drool (and maybe guys, who knows) and the plot is always a refreshing surprise from each episode to another. But anyway, have fun! ^__^
