Now, this should be fun: this is a game that even I should find easy to review... There is a simple reason for this: this game is complete and utter rubbish!
Graphics [6]:
Possibly one of the only positives about the game. Not exactly groundbreaking, hardly good either, but it will do in the end... plus I like the missing limbs when using the chainsaw and axe... now that's fun! But all the arenas are more or less the same...
Gameplay [4]:
Very bland... a few simple attacks, one finisher each (plus 4 or 5 default finishers each when limbs have been lost), and a lame create-a-wrestler mode, where you can use default legs/arms/heads etc., up to about 10 each... doesn't give much in terms of variation. Plus, the arenas don't even have turnbuckles, apart from the first one. Forget leaving the ring! But some of the characters are classics: Mr. T, Jerry Springer, all of N*Sync... including Justin Timberlake!
Sound [5]:
Not bad... the commentary is rather well done, and some of the sound effects can be humourous at best... other times it can just be lame. Well, most times, actually...
Lifespan [2]:
This is where the game fails, and boy does it fail... The main "story" mode takes up to about an hour at most, and the only unlockables are crap, generic wrestlers like The Mummy, and... ah, who cares? Plus with a pathetic CAW mode, the lifespan is too short to be true!
Overall [5]:
Not much more to say about it, apart from "don't go near it"... if you see it at a low price, it's there for a reason: it's for suckers like me to buy it on impulse. And I could have bought Way of The Samurai instead...
