Don Leach's 66 Fury Wagon!
A 440 powered ahra record holder. She ran in the 11's folks! This was the first 440 in the St. louis area, Don special ordered it! Its been my priviledge to meet Don and listen to his tales of the early days, and listen to his knowledge of Mopars in general, this guy is amazing folks! Don managed Alton Dragstrip and also campaigned the wagon while working full time and raising 3 boys. He's got stories from back in the vintage days of drag racing as he dealt directly with many of the legendary drivers about appearance fee's, fire burnouts, etc,etc. Besides all that, he's just one heck of a nice guy!
Don left a lot of racers shaking their heads wondering what just beat 'em... You really did not stand much of a chance against this wagon, this guy is crafty!
