It may have seemed to some of you that I have all but dropped from the map these last few years. While it's true I have been largely out of circulation lately, as they say, reports of my early demise have been greatly exaggerated. The truth of the matter is that I have spent most of the last three or four years building the foundation for the "new" life I am embarking upon as you read this newsletter. During this time, I have worked full-time as an attorney, developed a relationship with and eventually married my sweetheart from Mexico (Kulwant Kaur), learned to speak Spanish, traveled to India to celebrate with millions the 300th birthday of the Sikh religion, worked as a counselor for both a mental health clinic and a crisis intervention hotline, earned my masters degree in counseling psychology, continued advising clients as a portfolio investment adviser, and still found time to root on my beloved New York Giants all the way to the Super Bowl (the result of which I'd rather not talk about!). But I'm here to say that I'm back, I made it and hopefully I'm a better and wiser person for whatever I have put myself through these past few years. What the future holds, only God knows. But for now, I have the humble satisfaction of knowing that everything I set out to do, I did in fact accomplish, plus some. I feel that finally I am in the position I have long sought to be in: having the opportunity to start my life anew and follow my true heart's dream. Thanks to all who offered their wisdom, patience and encouragement these past few years. I could not have done it without you. And of course, best of luck on your voyage!
