Coons!

Title Explaination

Raccoons are often looked at as the bandits of the animal world.  Therefore, this thief deck takes on the animal totem to be great.  As a theme deck, it is strong and weaselly and underhanded.  What else can you expect of a world of thieves.

Notes on Deck building

I tried to stay with a thiefly theme with all support cards too.  Sometimes this was difficult (realms that could work, yet still allowed support with realm support cards (Boiling Oil, Thieves' Guild, Assassins' Guild)), but I managed well, especially with the events and battle support cards.  It sticks to the thief-like, weasel tactics that make this deck a fun theme deck that is suprisingly strong.

Note on Standard Play

Try not to waste cards.  There are only a few ways to get extras.  One of the key things is to attack early on the weakest target.  Bribery and the Curse work especially well in this respect, also with Broad Jump.  Assassins Guild also works well with all the low level champions and Storm.  The level of weasel-like razings (making sure no one is home to defend) is pretty high (usually around 2-3 a game), plus you can usually combat for one more.  The dungeon makes this even easier.  Some cards really aren't that important, but have a good intimidation effect (Sure Thing is the card that inspires this most).  It's not very good in a prolonged game (best combat cards are events and therefore not recycled), but in a shorter game, it's got great potential (also makes the combat decks like an angry fighter chasing you down the alley; actually this idea works well, for if you can run fast early, but in the prolonged chase, you get scragged up good!).  Let me know what you think...
